I heard this song when my son of 12 turning 13 was suffering with an eating disorder and was being treated in Denver Co. He died last week, 19, of that black dark depression he could not escape. The am of his funeral this week, I asked him for help to get thru. I turned the stereo on in the house...and 10 seconds later this song played. My oldest daughter informed me of the beautiful artist and his similar fate at 20. He, like my son, were perfectionist. Know they hear us... and all are at peace. The darkness they felt in this world has been defeated by a great light, and darkness cannot win out over the light. Light won... like a candle in a dark room. Reach out for help if you are suffering and I expect Avichi has saved many people and I hope my son saves one, two, three, etc. They are awake, as their darkness that most of us can't believe to understand on earth, has lost to the light, and they will never suffer again. We lost them once on earth, but will have them forever after this short time. Bless Avichi for his wonderful talent...and bless and remember his family, too.

My son passed away two Decembers ago. My wife was so stricken with grief she didn't know how to process his passing because he was our first and her only child. I was driving to the hospital when this song came on and I told her I imagine this song is exactly how we should celebrate him. I didn’t know until hours ago that he had passed. I saw on Snapchat “Remembering Avicii” and I kinda panicked. I searched up “Avicii” on the internet and the first thing that came up was “Avicii cause of death” and I was heartbroken. R.I.P. Thank you, I was bullied as a child, this song came out almost 2 years after that, this song and "Dont you worry child" helped me get through, I didn't understand then why I felt sad or anxious, but this song has always given me comfort. It hurts and it's even more meaningful, since Avicii passed away on my birthday. I still remember that day. I don't know where he is, but I hope he's now at peace.🙏🏻 He was such a amazing person, he deserved to live forever. Hope he knows how much we still love him and miss him. 💚
