The reason why I love Avicii's songs along with a few more artists like Alec Benjamin, Porter Robinson and Marshmellow is that he doesn't just blast you with a bunch of loud "music" but instead he gives you songs filled with emotion and this new type of happiness you only feel when you listen to his creations. That's the best type of music in my opinion, if not the only type of true music. Music isn't just sound, it's something that drives you, allows you to sit in the backseat and rest as it takes the wheel of the car. Music is the one driver that will drive you towards smiles, tears, dancing, and other car rides. Avicii's songs weren't just noise, they were music.

The thing is with music, at least the way I see it, is that it’s a lifestyle. The only source of these emotions and motifs for the musical pieces are from the makers themselves, and in that same effect I can allow music to define who I am for a day because it is emotions placed on a situation of someone else. Loud music and things like metal are to let out a sort of raging flame, and atmospheric music to sever us to another scenery. In that same respect music and lyrical songs can express onto our own eyes the emotions a person may have and intend to put on each letter. Songs that are often going trending in the years back are often expressing the lifestyles of the rich in their own musical videos and I can see why one wouldn’t like that. When I think about what makes good music, it’ll be something that you cannot deny for what it is. It is the heart of a person, a lifestyle and a personality that is brought to a specific situation. I’m no fan of careless living myself so that makes most songs that people sing or at least remember since there was so much I stopped staying updated on them, and so music like this, is something I cannot deny for what it is and I can say that it is the perfect one for me.

Years after his death his wonderful music is still influencing people (me as an example) his music will NEVER die. I hope I can meet him in heaven one day. RIP Legends Never Die
