Looks like their quality assurance through covid has slipped. Parents just bought one and have had numerous problems with doors either falling off or unable to open, bed hinges falling off, and TV falling off the wall due to poor workmanship and use of small self tapping screws used as fixings.

@@AvidaRVMotorhomesCaravans My parents and the motor home dealership have already been in touch with your team. The dealership made all the repairs required by forcing open the stuck door. It was lucky there were no perishables inside as they couldn't get around to looking at it for 2 weeks due to their workload. The bed hinges and doors that fell apart were fixed with either longer screws or nut and bolt fixtures. As for the TV that fell off the wall, the dealer remounted the fixture, but both the dealership and your Avida customer team refused to replace the TV as it still operated. I'm sure in the future, or on their next trip, should the TV short out or catch fire as a result of the impact you may reconsider replacing it. Your customer relations team were kind enough to send my parents a bottle of wine and a thank you note for their feedback. Since my first review, the Motor home went in for its routine service with the dealership, only to find the power distribution board had burnt out for the heater and water pump. As my parents had never used either, the gentleman servicing the vehicle put it down to a faulty board. It truly is a beautiful vehicle, its just a shame the huge price my parents paid focused mainly on the cosmetics and not the mechanics and functionality.
