Awesome pattern! I will be tying (and trying) this for the carp in the river I fish! do you think I could substitute the hares ear dubbing for olive chenille?

Experimentation is part of what makes fly tying so great! Give it a shot and let us know how it looks/performs. You may find the fly doesn't have the same "Movement" in the water without the natural material.

@@AvidMax I expect it to have a little less movement but I think its still worth a shot..........I wonder what it would look like with some soft hackle.........
