Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of silence In restless dreams I walked alone Narrow streets of cobblestone 'Neath the halo of a street lamp I turned my collar to the cold and damp When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light That split the night And touched the sound of silence And in the naked light I saw Ten thousand people, maybe more People talking without speaking People hearing without listening People writing songs that voices never share And no one dared Disturb the sound of silence "Fools, " said I, "You do not know Silence, like a cancer, grows Hear my words that I might teach you Take my arms that I might reach you" But my words, like silent raindrops fell And echoed in the wells, of silence And the people bowed and prayed To the neon god they made And the sign flashed out its warning In the words that it was forming And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls And tenement halls" And whispered in the sounds of silence

I received the music for this song the other day in Choir, so hearing it that close may help me learn it. And, I love this song, when I received it, I got SO happy. And, we listened to the trolls version, and the others said “Play the “Disturbed” one, it’s the best.” And, I TOTALLY agreed. (I DON’T CARE IF YOU CARE OR NOT, IT ONLY MATTERS IF I DO!)

Simon & Garfunkel originally wrote and performed The Sound of Silence. I, like many others, resisted listening to Disturbed's cover, as if it were heresy. We were wrong. Simon & Garfunkel wrote a beautiful song, yet David Draiman (singer of Disturbed) made me listen to the words for the first time. Many have made covers of this. This is the only one Paul Simon liked so much, he linked it on his own site. The first version and this one are equally great - while also being completely different somehow. No need to choose.

I am guessing when ttacks like this are recorded and produced using this tech, it will be even better, as this is cool but you are having to just apply the tech to a finished individual file. When you can do this ti individual stems and place them in different areas of maths sound scape, it will be unreal as this is just the whole track moving around. Not taking anything away from it but I hope you understand what I mean.
@rfkgaming3 жыл бұрын
Depends on the master you can change each stem. Look at MLP:FIM some of the episodes the Brony fandom changed the audio and even more. I am still shocked at some of the stuff the Brony Fandom has done.

Folks keep talking about 8d but I have listened to this on my lousy computer's speaker and it is still a fine work of art. The polarity between this and S/Gs version is total, it is a new interpretation of the song with a different message. You do not need 8d to appreciate it, but it does sound even more amazing with a wall of sound on a $300 pair of cans. I am not a fan of their other work, this genre, so you certainly don't need to be a metal fan to appreciate it.

MilesMario considering my Apple AirPods are unable to bend sound waves, so they travel in a loop around my head it most certainly does just go from left to right. This gives the sensation of a loop around your head, but that’s only because of the sound fading in and out, so it’s never completely silent on one side. Just because it sounds as if the song is being played on a loop around your head it’s still simply just audio changing from left to right.

@@MilesMario Hey, I'm using 10$ bass boosted earbuds, and this sounds AMAZING, and does indeed go in a circle around my body. His audio/depth perception is probably off.
