Daniel, you are one of a few composers that are genuinely cool, in addition to being a great writer and funny person. So glad I discovered your channel. Thanks so much for the inspiration

Speaking of Soundpaint, if people can make their own engine that has instruments/sounds that sound legit without it being so pricey (because some instruments/sounds/libraries are just way too overpriced imo), then that’d be super helpful to smaller composers who are trying to make music without it sounding cheap. Of course, it’s also the composer that makes whatever piece sound good or bad, but the sound that you use has gotta be legit too. So I can definitely see the “next level engine” (besides Kontakt) that everyone will jump to in the near future.

So good to see you back DJ. I got Symphonic Destruction last week and love it. Got it for a bargain as I own Damage 2. You are an inspiration and I love jamming to your videos! Keep up the outstanding work!

I really love your honest approach to stuff, if your not happy with a library you say it where others will say it's great because they got a review copy. Sound paint seems pretty intressting especially how it's free and it's not crap samples either, as you would expect for free of even paid.

Hi Daniel thanks for the great content! I'm a former touring musician and I'm trying to get a scoring portfolio together. I'm debating between buying Symphonic Destruction, Gravity, Damage 2 and Aeon...I know they're all different but if you had a gun pointed at you which Heavyocity would you pick for your wheelhouse. I have a lot of great libraries from Spitfire (Abbey Road, BBC collection, Bernard Herman, Olafur, Polaris, Hammers for drums by Charlie Clouser) Thanks!

The "Forever Arp" annoys me to no end... impressed otherwise though haha, many of the Piano sounds are quite inspired.

Daniel youre a master composer, but how are you at sound design? I would love to see you try to create your own sounds (maybe put out a texture pack or something) and combine it with your cinematic style.
@nickepic18633 жыл бұрын
He already sound designed many times in his streams. Not to mention he produced Kontakt library. So check out his old streams.

As a composer, do you feel under pressure to seek out the newest and most unique sounding vsts or are you happy with your own sonic pallete

Can you use loops like you used around the 37min mark and add on to it with various sounds/instruments and be able to put it on stock music sites and or sync licensing? Or is any kind of loop forbidden?

Kinda disappointed you didn’t buy Hybrid Emotions and/or Palindrome / Juniper 8 etc for this but I assume you’ll get them eventually

Does anyone know how he gets it to sustain so he can play along in cubase? Beautiful writing man, as always.
@davidmedina78052 жыл бұрын
He explains that at 2:12:56, but basically you hold the sustain pedal and move to a different track.

I dunno why everyone was mentioning the vocals being line dune. its a common arabic-ish vocal . Its great, but dune's vocals r not new

Great video Daniel, thanks. Well, my bank account doesn't thank you as I ended up buying SD and Intimate Vocals off the back of this. Also picked up Sequis whilst bankrupting myself and did a 2 minute jam with them all together here for those interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYG5fWOBYsqmqs0 Side note Daniel, whenever I play intimate vocals and the end tails off of a note I shall forever hear you saying she doesn't "hooollldddd on" now!

1:31:18 How can I do that of keeping the note playing while changing tracks in logic pro x?
@raymelfabian37492 жыл бұрын
Using the sustain pedal, put a chord: lest say E minor( of course with a legato or a patch that allows you to do so) and then switch to the track where you have your other instrument. Or you can literally make a loop with your strings or synth and then play on another track, there are options to do it. Hope it helps
@LucasRicciottiMusic2 жыл бұрын
@@raymelfabian3749 thank you, the first option does not work in logic but the second one works for me =)
