The kind of recognition Tripti is getting for Bulbbul (and has totally earned it cuz of her amazing skills) is exactly what Avinash deserved for his work in Laila Majnu! He was phenomenal in it...nobody could've done that role the way he did it! That movie was hardly seen by people. Yes, the producers hadn't promoted the movie well, but even many top film critics neither reviewed the movie nor promoted these talented actors. Small producers barely have the money to make the film. How will they spend crores on promotion and media events the way the likes of Karan Johar do? Crores flow to print news about "Star kid spotted here/there" months before they even start their acting career. Outsider actors dont have that and they are totally dependent on audience.

taking interview is a part of movie promotions.. its done by marketing team.and in a 40 and 40+cr buget movies had a marketing strategy about 10 cr.... and flim like laila majnu made of 4or 5 cr maybe so taking interview is not in their hand but ofcoure it its trun out sucessfull they will take onterview like anupoma maam doing right now.. my problem is not that my problem is when a good flim realse they should give a review.. post somting. it help the movie.. but no anupoma or rahul the other reviewrs, review the movie.. but the all review darak which clash with laila majnu... so sad

When I saw Laila Majnu, I actually thought for a very long time that Tripti is Kashmiri. And had I watched Bulbbul before Laila Majnu, I would've thought she is a Bengali. Theyre both my faves since laila majnu. That was an outstanding movie in every aspect. But i dont think its fair to blame the audience solely for the film failing at the BO. The trouble with the movie was that it was hardly marketed by balaji. A silent release with almost no hype , with unknown faces couldnt have done much. It needed much more marketing and promotion than what was done. Idiotic movies with dumb casts are marketed so much, and this gem came and went without so much as a whisper.

The problem with a large majority of Indian Audience is that they are so obsessed with the "hero, heroine & masala movie" genre that they are least concerned with the story albeit the acting part. Because of this trend large production houses cast the star kids ( relatives or progenies of the "heroes") so that they can cash on , inspite having a garbage storyline. Many people are currently putting accusations online about a how big actor destroyes other's carriers but these the same people who'll say "arey bhai ki picture aaii chal dekhne chalte hain" & the picture how bad it's story and build up may be grosses more than atleast 100 crore and movies which have actually good story and acting end up in a corner at the theater. Conclusion -: Ultimately it's the people who decide who'll become a star.

The collective wisdom gained from Tripti's innocence and Avinash's pragmatism speaks volumes about how mature the two are and have become so through the rejections they have faced in their careers. Bulbbul was a beautiful poetry. Laila Majnu was a beautiful beautiful epic modern day retelling of a an age old love story. (Everyone should watch it) Kudos to these two actors. Them talking about their struggle teaches you one thing or two. The interview was refreshing. They are quite intellectual and I wish them all the success which they definitely deserve.

I waited for this interview when Laila Majnu first came out. I can't describe the experience, what I felt when I saw the movie on the big screen. It was a surreal experience, so much so that I could not even talk for hours after the film had ended. I couldn't leave the world behind, the milieu, the heartache, the music, the performances. Katyu chuko, Tum, Hafiz Hafiz, Sarphiri... such an underrated gem this film. I wish more people had seen it and I wish popular critics had reviewed it. These are genuine talents and they deserve more opportunities. Indian audiences will evolve; the saddest part is that a brilliant young man had to give himself up for most of us to realize this. P.S. I have stayed away from horror films all my life, but nothing compares to the horrors of the world, so I will prepare myself to watch it.

It is amazing how different their lives is. They are saying there is nothing to do and waiting for thr next role is like being in a lockdown. On the other hand kid, star kids go to Kathak, contemporary dance classes, gym because getting the roles and publicity is sorted for them. And yet these outsiders are great dancers and actors with so much life experience. Siddhanth chaturvedi said in an interview that star kids infuse a level of mediocrity in the market and it is so true. There is only one Ranbir. Majority are mediocre. I swear to not watch star kids content in first yr of release and not to click Instagram star kid content, and media articles etc. I don't want to regret not appreciating another Sushanth.

But, they didn't ask you to follow them continuously. You guys follow them on social media constantly but how many outsiders got that kind attention from us. Platforms like Film Companion and Rajeev Masand’s show constantly discuss nepotism with a sour taste in their mouth, yet THEY are the ones to call on these star kids before their first movie even comes out. How hypocritical. FC can’t even give the excuse of “this is what the public wants to see”. NO, we the public want to hear the stories of such actors as Avinash, Tripti. They were both BRILLIANT in Laila Majnu and should have been called for interviews then. Now with Bulbbul they just hit it out of the park and were both SPECTACULAR!! At least they were called for the interviews now, better late than never. Just a tip for FC, how can you yourself present yourself in a way where you are against nepotism, yet you encourage it? Avinash Tiwary was so wonderful in Laila Majnu, I can't even explain to you guys that how accurately he did his role, he is a gem. This movie was a flop but IMDb gave it 7.7 rating. ( 7.7 is very good) I am happy that Tripti is getting recognition now, she is a tremendous actress too. Tripti did an incredible job in bulbul and I am happy for the actors 💜 I want you guys to watch "Laila Majnu", Avinash was so fucking wonderful in it 💜 We should support these wonderful actors ✨

Bulbul is a great film. Everything about the film is so good. Tripti was too good in the movie . Her facial expressions, dialogue delivery, body language everything..... I cried a lot after watching the movie. I feel sorry that I didn't watch laila majnu in theatre. They are extremely talented. They deserve lot more recognition for their talent.
