Many young heroes debuted at that time like ronit roy , siddharth , harish , kamal sadanah , prithvi , vivek mushran , rahul roy , deepak tijori , sumit sehgal and also avinash wadhawan but very few like akshay , ajay , aamir , salmaan and shahrukh could make a long lasting rest switched to television or disappeared.

I met Avinash in 90’s & can say he was damn good looking actor. Sid K. Maybe millennials maynot much resonate,But, anyone born in late 60’s or 70’s will resonate with these guests you are bringing lately.Instead of knowing journeys of super sucessful’s,these guests who had a fleeting sucess & now their realisation of their mistakes make these interviews engaging & humane. Excellently conducted interview Sid K.where you let your guest open up their mind n heart without any interruptions. Keep it up & look forward for your future podcasts.

What a great interview! Genuine person. That was the time I was growing up. I saw AW in songs and also had watched the film Junoon. He seemed alright, but I think he lacked the x factor. Still could have done better if he took things a bit more seriously. For someone so intelligent (at least academically), I don't think his choices were really that good (in choosing both movies as well as schools). And I think that ultimately played a big role in shaping his career. Good luck for your future, Mr Wadhawan. Please don't live in regret. You did make an impression and you are still remembered today.

Avinash was good looking and hence he managed to make big in the fashion world. But, he didn’t have the x-factor for mainstream Hindi films like Ajay, Akshay, Suneil, & others. He came across as a very quiet n simple guy who was perfectly suited to still-photography and not for motion pictures. Hindi film was all about hero delivering a larger than life image on screen. Strong dialogues, stunning action, great dances was the main ingredient of a star. Unfortunately, Avinash didn’t fit into that. He would have been successful in side-roles.
