Really cool to see you commentary evolving. It now seems you have more of a structure and routine in your videos. Plus you are way more comfortable with Vbloging and acting with the camera. Props to you. Hope to see more videos like these. Shorts are cool and all and you are the king of gem shorts, but videos like these are way more educational. Keep it up👑

Assuming that $2mil ruby was indentical in weight and everything else you mentioned, but it was from Burma, why is it worth more than a Mozambique one ? The way he said it made it seem like the stone wouldve been worth much more just because it came from another country. (Even though nothing else would be different about it)
@adriansliva14127 ай бұрын
That's exactly all it would take is to be from burma. Maybe not quite as much as he said though as the sunrise ruby resold for only 14 million. It does now have some baggage attached not in a good way though. It originally auctioned for I believe 30 million.
@adriansliva14127 ай бұрын
And the reason being burma used to be the only source for such exceptional color. So everybody wants that origin on the certificate. Mozambique rubies are however selling higher all the time.

Study Gemology …Visit local market atleast twice a week to know about prices and how market works and what are the trends… You can learn to cut stones too which is very rewarding for example if you cut a stone you bought at $100 you cut it and sell for $1000 … a $1000 rough piece can be sold for $10k to $20k after cutting and polishing… you can cut some one else stock for them and charge them per carat…Different rates for different stones…You can sell to Jewelers , gem dealers , in gem shows, in local markets…Etsy , Ebay, Amazon , Gem Rock Auctions, Opal Auctions, your own website, You can learn jewelry design and make your own jewelry

I just purchased a beautiful Patroke Kunzite AAA 12.49 kt, it was In a pendant bug I have had it made into a ring. Certificate of authenticity from the GIA £999 pounds, I asked for a round and not oval and it is Really stunning for the midnight gem the Phosphorescence makes it that electric glow, I studied George Fredrick Kunz Oh what an eye he had at the age of only 19. I’m actually in love with it. Regards Sharon.

I don't understand why is it cheaper because it comes from Mozambique. Looking at the stone would you even be able to tell it was from Mozambique?
@lauraiglesias2660Ай бұрын
Depending on the stone, you can sometimes tell where was it from….it normally affects the inclusions inside the stone, so u got different patterns depending on the place it was formed.
