So many memories. Some years ago, travelling to a pier in Manhattan, a white woman looked at me, and complimented me for my two corn row braids, when I said thank you, she said, " you're from Trinidad" " I said yes and how do you know" , she said " am friends with Holly Betaudier, and going to visit him in a nursing home now, come and go with me", I couldn't go, for time was on me, as I was going to a Christian boat ride; that remained with me, she got off the bus, point to the Nursing home told me I can visit, I forgot, and some time after than , he passed. Whenever his name comes up, there's a sadness that hits me, Lord Jesus, have mercy.
