A quick tip when playing Xavier: if you find yourself unable to stack up your passive then just go to the turtle/lord since they also raise your stacks. Get into team fights with full stacks to gain more advantage such as: wider immobilizations, enhanced magic dmg and wider ult.

Dreadnought Armor decreases physical attack of the attacker whenever they use skills on you, and all physical assassins use skills and have high phy atk. Athena or Rose gold recipe can save you from instant burst skills, like Gusion Harley Eudora Tough boots can save you from hard CC Items exist to counter, this is basic item knowledge but it's okay if some people don't know it What I hate the fact is when they refuse to build it, they're like "i nEeD dAmaGe iTeMs fiRst" dude you're not gonnabe able to deal any damage if you keep dying from their assassin

Took a looong break from playing and just recently got back following this new season and there were new heroes that I just saw. Xavier being one, and as I tried using him I knew he was the one for me, never had fun playing mage since Harley(main). He maybe squishy but makes up a lot on damage and unlimited range with his ult and CC, almost no time for dying enemy to react anywhere on the map. It feels very satisfying to see them instantly lose their tiny hope that they were safe as they see a ray of light flashing before their eyes. Seing you recomend him made me confident and want to improve more like I did with Harley. Thank you and more wins to come.

One of the best Tank strategies right now against mm is Belerick with Vengeance + Bladed Armor+ Cursed Helm. So much passive damage even if you stand still and really makes enemies waver when attacking you or while you're defending

Map awareness is the first step of stopping yourself getting feed by a very versatile jungler .. Akai is strong on jungle clash cuz he can easily pin you down. So therefore he is very good tank not AT THE MOMENT but JUNGLE INITIATOR OF ALL TIME SINCE EVEN BEFORE REVAMP..

I'd recommend dominance ice for defence when using a mage, it'll give more damage for lightning truncheon also anti heal

@@kushtheone4940 you can used it against hero melee that can jump to the back line like Ling, Nata, and you Zhong pair it with warrior boots you pretty much tanky enough, to gave your team time to back up (can survive about 10 second ish) , and with anti heal if you have enough burst you can kill them and like the top person said dominan ice gave mana 500, and lightning truncheon damage can be increase by mana Edit : i forgot dominan ice also lower attack speed so it much more better then using Blade armor if you build Blade armor to Gain the max potensial you need atleast 1 more defense item, but if you do that you make your damage out come lower
