I haven't been to Magic Kingdom in years. I have Lupus and can't do the sun very well so these after hours parties are perfect for me.

I am so excited this is my first time going to Disney during the holiday season. I haven’t been back in 15 years and it’s my son‘s fifth birthday on November 10 and the first ever Disney trip. We are attending the Christmas party on November 10 and we will be sleeping in And heading to Chef Mickey for a 12 PM reservation for his birthday. At 4 o’clock we plan to go in early and just browse around go on some rides have a late dinner and then enjoy the party at 7 PM. We have a day off on the 11th so that my exhausted five-year-old can sleep in after his fantastic late night Christmas birthday party.

I loved watching Lucy in the background clapping, she's such a cute little princess. A tip that I would like to share is take your kids to a potty break before rides with longer lines or parades, I was so excited for the "Boo to You" parade at the Halloween party when my daughter had to go to the restroom right in the middle of it, I have to admit I was a bit annoyed but it was my fault for getting carried away and not taking them before. Also the lines are supposed to be short at parties but we still ended up waiting around 30 minutes for mine train, I felt so bad when a mom and daughter had to run off to the restroom when it was finally their turn to ride, the poor little girl was crying because she couldn't hold it any longer. Taking frequent potty breaks can be inconvenient but it can relieve lots of stress when you are waiting for rides. You are so right about carrying extra snacks and the 2nd dinner, all that walking does make you hungry.😂

We've only done the party once, precovid. Even then it was too crowded to have fun (in my opinion). I wish Disney would stop thinking about money and really limit the number of tickets sold. I would definitely go again if that were the case. Love your ears Pixie!😊👍🎄⛄😊

Well, you definitely got me excited to go to the Christmas party! I have never been to either the Halloween or Christmas party, though the former is about to be done! I am hoping to go to the Christmas party in 2025, but I am at least getting to go to the Halloween party for the very first time this year! I know you said you've never been to a Halloween party, but I think your tips go great for either one. I don't have any littles, but the other tips will be kept in mind for navigating the Halloween party. Definitely prioritizing the Boo to You parade and stage show!

I've been watching so many videos to prepare. Our game plan is character dining for breakfast on our party day. Our kids don't know about it so I'm super excited to surprise them. We're going to Hollywood Studios the night before so we'll be up late for Fantasmic. Our character breakfast is later in the morning so we can sleep in. I'll have snacks in the room in case we need a little something beforehand. Then we'll just be taking it easy until party time! We may swim a little bit if it's warm enough. I want to get there around 4 just because fireworks aren't until like 10 and I dunno how much longer we'll last past that on our party day. I figure we'll grab a pizza at our resort and then eat again somewhere before the party stuff really starts in the park. I'm so excited to take our girls this year. I'm hoping people will post vlogs so I can get the lay of the land lol...there's a few parties before ours!

I was going to take my toddler on the second night and the tickets sold out literally just before I tried to buy them. I had been just about to pay the day before but got side tracked (mom life 😂). But we’re going to enjoy the (hopefully) low party daytime attendance at MK that day til 6 and then have a relaxing resort afternoon. We’ll just have to come back for it next year!

Me and my four-year-old are going to Disney November 8 to the 14th. We were lucky enough to get tickets for the November 10 party night. Which was very important because my son turns five that day it’s his birthday and it’s what he’s asked for. He had the option to have a day off and go to the pool at the hotel and Disney Springs or go to the Christmas party and that’s what he chose. We’re going to have a very relaxed sleep in morning and then at 12 we have chef Mickey for birthday brunch and then Christmas party at 4 PM early entry and then spend the day or I should say evening partying it up for his fifth birthday. We have a day off the next day, so no worries about five-year-old.

Since you guys were just at the party the other day, did you notice the overall wait times for rides? I have tickets for the party but more for the decreased rides lines. Looking at the video with tons of party goers I am wondering if it is worth it? Is MK less crowded before the party begins? Thanks for your reply.

What is the weather like? We go to WDW the week of Thanksgiving. Also the the weather at night, we have Christmas Party tickets for one of the days. I'm coming from Washington state and we are already in the 50s.

Weather during Thanksgiving week can still be somewhat warm. If my memory is correct, the daily highs can max out in the mid-70's and the evenings are usually in the low 60's/high 50's. During that time of year, I find it best to have a couple of layers for the evenings in the park. Safe travels and enjoy the party!!
