I'm second! Keep going strong! Yes, I barely got to do any concurrent work in Golang, so even Turing's MCQ questions on it had me going XD By the way, I'm too dumb to figure out where the installment option is in the course payment.

Not getting any job in Go 😢..... Now it feels I made a mistake learning GO
@kantancoding10 ай бұрын
I mean, it’s not like once you learn one language, you can never learn another. In fact, learning languages becomes easier the more you learn. I think it’s best to put less emphasis on language contrary to what “tech influencers” push for clicks 🫠

GO is on boom in US and Europe. Not in asian subcontinent. In aisa(except china) js and java/c# dominate in terms of jobs. GO will take time to reach here. But it surely will because US adopt first then others do. If you looking for jobs JS is easy to learn and land a job. If you choose Java/C# their is a bit of learning curve.

One thing that is missing, interfaces that are implicit instead of explicit.

Can you elaborate?
@henrmota10 ай бұрын
@@kantancoding Knowing how to use the golang interfaces and identifying the most common ones like Read and Write. For me is one of the most powerful features of go, but at the same time some time is complicated to track what interfaces are built around a struct. Knowing the most common ones can impact the way you design your structs and reduce the complexity of your app.
@kantancoding10 ай бұрын
@@henrmotaI see. I think that just understanding interfaces will make it pretty easy to go read the code that makes use of them for example parts of the io package. I'll make a video on interfaces 👍 It's a good point. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Can you please make a video on Devin, the AI (Menace) Software Engineer? You know, about the same "ChatGPT will replace you" line.

I just think it’s another overhyped AI. I don’t really have any creative video idea about it 🫠
