I moved to Germany in April month and I started my stay on the sublet, I got the ARD letter and when I checked with the sublet owner about radio tax, he didn't get any letter ever and was not paying since he started. Now, I am moving to my permanent house. Now my question is - from when do I need to pay the radio tax?

If this is not your permanent place of stay, then I would suggest you can wait a bit. You don't have to do anything. Once you move to the permanent place then you can either contact them directly via their website or you will get the letter.

Hi.. if we live in WG and If your Roommate don't pay radio fee. that you got to know from ARD Büro after contacting with them . but Roommate pretend to show paying. you got a letter from ARD that you have to pay. what can we do in that matter?. looking for solution. Thanks

You can pay yourself and if your room mate is not paying then give your roommate's name to ARD and tell them that this person is not under your beitragnummer. Soon your room mate will also get a letter then either your room mate pay himself or pay to you and then you can add his name under your beitrag number.

What if taking a loan for the payment for college fees and still receiving the radio bill? Is it possible to share the radio bill if we stay in the Studierendenwerk apartment ( separate room ) , as in my building not many students are getting the bill except me and other one friend.

If you are living in a WG and others and they are not contributing then contact GEZ and tell them their names that these people live in your WG but they are not under your Beitragnummer. Then they will get the letter.

@@DanyalDMx12 As per my knowledge, you will get the bill anyhow, let's say when you go for the blue card process then everything is checked, so it's better to get rid of it as soon of possible. You can call Ardo and ask for the bill
