Great and very useful for begginers. Only, usualy people who are doing this mistakes are working destructively and cannot undo their doing. Great that you showed non-destrucive ways! Good job!

Thanks for the tips. I definitely learned from all three suggestions. While i have approached these in different ways i always love learning new ways to accomplish similar tasks.

Liked the one about unsharp mask. Already familiar with using vibrance vs. saturation. Not sure I will use the other one as I do not generally do much composite work.

When it comes to colours I prefer adjusting via the calibration tools in camera raw or via lightroom classic, also the hsl/colour tools is a great for getting more specific colours in your photos!

Didn't know about the pixel trimming.... Funny I always convert to the same resolution and profile before I combine images. the images aren't low res to begin with but I make sure the match so if my main image is 2000 dpi I make sure the image I'm dragging in is the same.

HOW DOES SUPER ENHANCE COMPARE TO IMAGE RESIZE WITH PRESERVE DETAILS 2.0?
@MrBroomy

Colin, I tried to use the enhance feature BUT it did not work as my Mac said I had "unsupported software" and that enhance requires a graphics card with Metal support. However, I went to about my Mac and it said under hardware/graphics/displays the metal family is supported, metal GPUFamily macOS.1. Great video but any ideas why the enhance does not work on my Mac but yet it seems like it should?

A slightly different question, when in camera raw if I try to enhance I get the message Enhance requires a graphics card that has metal support, but when in lightroom I do not get that message and enhance works. I am using a 2021 Macbook Pro M1 laptop so is it really an issue that my Mac does not have the correct graphics card?

Hmm that is odd. If you have GPU turned on in the preferences in Photoshop, I'm not sure why this is happening to you.

you'll also want to convert the layer you're going to resize into a smart object first so that PS doesn't pixelate it while resizing.
@photoshopcafe
@photoshopcafe 2 жыл бұрын
A Smart Object, doesn't prevent a smaller image from pixelating when you scale it up too much. But it does allow you to scale multiple times (lossless scaling) without lowering the quality, and you can revert any time.
