@@jacquelinevega5331 Meritage is new to Utah, so I haven’t had a ton of experience with them, but so far I haven’t seen red flags. My clients who recently closed with them love the home and really enjoyed working with the builder. They seem to offer an incredible value as well. Best of luck to you.

So I just signed with Lennar, but one of their 3D printed communities. I’m concerned about build quality but it also looks like they’re mainly just a middleman by subcontracting Icon. Can I trust this?

Yes, make sure you pay for an inspection twice to be 100% good. Main thing I’ve seen is driveway cracking, need to confirm it’s good

Excellent question. I kind of like ‘em, but I would definitely hire a Realtor with new home construction experience if you build with them. I know one person who had a horrible experience with them, where they would not give back his large deposit.😬

I almost bought a resale DR Horton. Built in 2020. The seller did not put on their listing that it was a DR Horton build. I was able to back out of the contract once I knew it was a DR Horton build, after looking into how bad DR Horton are. I'm guessing that they tend to be fine the first 3-4 years and then have issues..which is why they're selling...

How much do new home sales consultants make per year? On average

Great question. It varies significantly from state to state & builder to builder. My income would fluctuate largely depending on the housing market & the neighborhood where I was placed. I’d guess the ave. Pay would be somewhere between $80k $120k per year. But it can be significantly lower or higher. But most builders don’t offer benefits like health insurance, 401k, & etc.
