That's pretty curious, thanks for sharing. Quite a significant amount of new subscribers for £20, seems like a good investment to me. Interesting that watch hours from KZbin promotion don't go towards monetisation, but I guess that makes sense in a way, otherwise you could just keep using money from monetisation to buy more promotion and just buy your way to the top fairly quickly. I'm sure we will all make it eventually! Got to keep on with it 😊.

I've been uploading a lot of short videos, getting good (for my channel) plays and got the subscriber up too. My longer form videos, 1 to 5 minutes still get very few plays despite similar content

Yep…that’s probably because the algorithm is thinking that your channel is more about shorts and so it doesn’t push your long form to viewers…it happens a lot …some say it’s better to have a shorts channel and a separate long form channel ?…you could check my other vid about using links to related content in shorts..

If you take this promotion offer on KZbin they warn you that your subscribers who subscribe through that promotion are invalid for your total subscriber count ie; it may look good on paper but if For example you are on 700 subscribers already and you gain another 300 off your promotion you still have 300 more subscribers to go till you reach your 1000 subscriber goal to monetise The warning and instructions are very clear Kindest regards Nigel WMH Team - Australia 3:53
