This happens only in India ! My sibling studies in Germany which is not even 1/4 of India but still the education quality and practical knowledge is top notch and *there are many more factors*.... In Germany there is no term as On-campus placements but a student has to work on his/her skills and go for interviews all by themselves and and the uni will help you by providing a legit LOR(Letter Of Recommendation).... and the most important point there is nothing as ''Attendance'' in High school or unis !! By this I am not saying that anything is worse, its just FACTS ..

I dont understand why in India when the term "College" comes, it JUST means "Placements". If you search, you will find that in many universities outside India have no concept of campus placements! What I mean to say is that we should see if a college has the potential to develop "Scientific Temperament" of its students. And that should be superior. Personally, I would go to a college (government / private) only if it gives environment to develop the scientific temperament. And I think nrif ranking cannot be neglected in such aspects. Ofcouse there will be many other factors BUT college placements will not be one of them!! :)

I used to think college was a place to study and get higher education but rather it is a place ti get jobs , And the worst part is no matter which field you are , you have to learn 2-3 programming languages and get that worthless job in IT for a mere 4-5 lpa package. I always wanted do research in power generation and thought of studying hard to get in a college like IITs or IISC but after seeing that people only care about placements in india , I am saddened. Either I have to pursue higher education abroad or leave my dream and do that ordinary IT job. What a harsh truth.

Hats off to the best vodeo i have ever come across, this is such an eye opener and even though i quietly knew some facts like they never give avg /median packages in websites and have high student intakes( when i told my parents this they said i don't know how to search properly ), i never knew so much was at play behind the scenes . I have got to show them this now . The worst thing is parents fall so easily for such marketing and have an inflated sense of knowledge about the college and when we try to telll them sth is wrong then they snap at us and tell us that we are incapable , even for my 11th ,12th coaching they fell for such marketing and when i came out unable to secure good ranks in entrances they said i was incapacble well infact i am not , for the amount i endured in those 2 years , i think i did much better on my own than my classmates who got double the ranks as mine and yet through all of this parents blinded by marketing remain unaware of the ground reality and how much students suffer at the hands of incapable teachers

My cousin brother studied from a private engineering college in Dehradun whose NIRF ranking is 53. He said that college is great and I should take admission too. He was boasting about the college's ranks and placements. Now he is struggling to earn not more than 3.7-3.8 LPA. Maybe not all private colleges are like that but most of them are. You are true and eye opener to students and parents. Yes, I also did some research with central universities along with private universities. Central universities like "Thiruvarur (TN), Ranchi (JH), Gandhigram (TN) are analised by me. There is NO basic amenities like RO-Drinking waters, clean toilets, play grounds etc. In the THIRUVARUR (TN) University, more than students, stray animals like Cow, Buffalo and PIGs can be seen within the University campus. Also in this Universities both teaching and non teaching staff strenght does not match with UGC standard. I also analised Pvt Law Universities in Karnataka. Alliance University has its own critaria to deny scholarship to 12th class marks, and this University has NO hostel within the campus. KLE law College Bangalore has NO hostel. They have rented boys hostel which is worst than a Jail. I also visited PES University which is still under construction including the law classrooms building. RV-University also lags facility and infrastructure to run law school. But all these Universities charges at par with Tier-II NLUs. Definitely, I am not going to recommend these visited schools.

Another big reason is fear of missing out. Since very less number of govt seats are there students don't have much option because mostly everyone is false advertising only. Ab vote Religion aur caste k basis pe diya h to education nhi milegi na result m. So ab garv se kaho m hindu hun muslim hun ye caste hun wo caste hun. Because paisa pvt college se milta rahega and tum sab caste aur religion k naam pe ek dusre se ladte rahoge so enjoy!

I have recently visited LPU . I was shocked to see the huge amounts of student . Almost 40 thousand student study there , and 75% students are just pursuing btech course only. I talked to the seniors of LPU , they told me that there are😮 21000 thousand student for btech cse branch only😢. 300 section and section contain 60 to 80 student. The environment outside the campus was very bad , student were smoking , taking drugs etc . Fees for btech car will be 12 lakh to 16 lakh . The avg placement were 3 to 4 lakh LPA. I didn't take admission and now waiting for uptu counseling. Bhaiya I want to make video on uptu counseling and top collages in up. Thanks❤

There is one similar college in Ahmedabad also. Named Ahmedabad University. They always take credits of students hard work. They don't even any placements records mentioned on their website but all the students will tell you that this University is very great. But after entering the college only the student will know about the actual truth, which happened same with me.

@@PoeticJai Bhai I don't know about how much of that placement data is true but i did my 12th last year i was offered 50% scholarship by them i will tell you my reasons of not joining graphic era I just Hope it helps 90% of my classmates went to graphic era , they admit literally everyone even people who played games all year and barely passed boards so the peer group is definitely not good 2. they have classes from morning to evening which drains all your energy + i hate the uniform culture 3. It's pretty expensive, if you don't get scholarship get ready to pay 14 lakh tuition+ 6-8 lakh hostel and other fees 4. Some of my average friends that had the potential tell me about their shit experience there , teachers dont care , 80%placement is mass recruitment In my personal opinion even upes is a lot better than geu

I am a Bitsian and I am aware that BITS admission office is quite lax during counseling , however if you had withdrawn before the deadline, then your money will certainly be refunded. I myself got my JOSSA refund money after waiting for the entire 2 months back in 2020.
