Thank you so much for the feedback Mr. Choucino. I'm the third photographer and It is Brazilian Portuguese, you are right! I've already changed the files format, they were really big and a mistake and now everything is more organized, tidy and fast! I will take the chat out and try to make a more direct design (taking out the home page for instance). Again really happy for your feedback!

I really liked your photos, liked the darkness and color palette and sharp contrasty look although the lighting was of flat dynamic range. Loved it.

@@smepable thank you so much! I have this style in almost all my pictures. Took sometime to get it right, so your compliment is really well recieved!

Yeah your images really are FANTASTIC! Much respect submitting your website for critique when you're slaying in the photo department which is still honestly 95% of what really matters. 👊🏻

Thanks a lot for your critique. Indeed I have an identity crisis so your pieces of advice mean the world to me. I'm really glad that you chose my website and I didn't expect that. I guess I have to reorganize stuff around and make up my mind about what type of photographer I want to be. Thanks a lot again!

Thank you for this video. I didn't submit my website, mainly because I didn't realize you had asked, but I found a lot of the same mistakes on my website that you had covered here. It's important to not just get a critique, but to get one that is clear and obvious, like this one was. I like that you manage to give people feedback in a way that they can actually use. It's not simply "Oh wow, great job." or "Oh, that's bad." You make the effort to explain why it's bad, or what could be done to improve. I have quite a bit of work ahead of me, but I'm glad to finally start seeing _what_ it is that I was doing wrong, and _how_ I can improve my site.

I really don't think the problem is so much that people put a too broad range of genres on one website. I think it's more to the fact that almost no one does the multiple genres they put up equally well. If your beauty photography is killer and then you have another section that is landscape that is just extremely poorly done, people who may otherwise hire you for beauty will be left doubting your abilities based on the poorer work. It always comes down to you will always be judged based on your worst photograph. Always.

Thanks for this video, and all your other videos too :) Loved how you went through these website with the pros and cons. Very informative! I’m also not a fan of contact forms, also because you lack administration of your send message. Do you think combining portraits, travel and business (real-estate) is too much?

Hello, Scott: It is interesting that you commented on the lack of a date on some the copyright notices. You noted that without a date you couldn't tell whether the photographer is still in business. I would point out that a date is not required in many countries to assert copyright. If a date is what you are looking to see to determine the status of a photographer, that is an interesting assumption when the date is not a legal necessity.

Love it, learnt a ton. I’m scrapping tomorrow’s test shoot to go over my website.

something super important nowadays is missing, your website has to be responsive and has to work superfast and easy from a phone and even with a not superfast connection. More and more people hate using computers and want to do everything on their phones, I hate that but I have to adapt for that.

I truly never normally post comments or wish to get into debates, however, given the subject matter of this post there is a certain irony that is not lost on me given the appalling state of your own 'new' website. Responsive breakpoints are all off. No footer copyright info. Terrible contact form page. No UI/styling to talk of. When a user adds a course to the basket, the basket icon does not update in the header. That appears to only happen when you leave the page. The checkout page is dreadful - no T&Cs that I can see anywhere on the site. The one saving grace is your portfolio page. Though the use of the masonry grid layout and distribution of images in terms of colour and flow is well off.

Less Ads in videos please! One thing about your videos, they weren't full of pop-up ads. Please, dial down the duration between ads. I know they help pay the bills, but even with my ad-blocker it starts to break up your instruction. So perhaps, put them at the end of a thought, otherwise it breaks up the flow of what you are trying to convey.
@TinHouseStudioUK4 жыл бұрын
Not sure why, but depending on the duration of the video it allows you to toggle different ads on and off. So sometimes you can remove mid roll in favour of post roll, but not on longer videos. The only ones I can and do always remove are those annoying banners that pop up.
