I think keeping the eyes open for so long is not one of the symptoms of that illnes, according to what I researched, so it might not be a keratitis problem.

0:24, In English, the verb "to offer" has an overlapping meaning with the verbs "to suggest" and "to propose." "They suggested that I move to Dallas" or "They proposed that I move to Dallas" would be correct.

This is an incredibly useful video!!! Too bad in many movies the actors use terrible grammar.
@fredylopez24778 сағат бұрын
They already know they're speaking wrong BUT that's the dialogue in the movie. Take into account that they know the Grammar of their own mother tongue, they don't do it on purpose, they do it 'cause that's their job, as simple as that.

Hello Kevin! I've been learning English for 23 years, and you're one of very few people on KZbin who can actually teach me something. Thank you for your effort. I hope your eye is okay now. If it's not, you should perhaps see a doctor.

hi Kevin!!!is it wright to say" i missed telling to president Biden that he is totally stupid??"Sorry for that,but i think that this is the opinion of the maggiority of the population on earth

@fredylopez24778 сағат бұрын
I'M NOT KEVIN BUT; First; The correct question is; Is it RIGHT to say ? And. You say; - "I missed telling president Biden that he is totally stupid" # you don't need the preposition "TO" in this case. # the sentence ; - "I missed telling president Biden that he is totally stupid" is correct IF you're sad because you didn't tell the president (just like Kevin said). I hope I helped.

@@fredylopez2477 That's a great answer. I'd like to add that we can say "I missed the opportunity to tell president Biden (that) he is totally stupid" and it will have the meaning that we want

@@Kondziu16 Thanks for that compliment. And yeah that's better, that sentence conveys the exact meaning, what you really wanna mean.

If I were Kevin, I would keep politics out of my videos. First of all, all the slur about who Ukrainians hate feels provocative. Secondly, such a statement is misleading and inaccurate. Finally, search videos leave a bad taste in the mouth. Kevin can do a lot better than this. Highly disappointing

Pretty much all of Ukraine speaks Russian, not Ukrainian, I guess you are mistaken, Kevin
@fredylopez24779 сағат бұрын
So you're saying that there's no Ukrainian language only russian, is that correct ?. Or. Is there any difference between ukrainian and russian languages ?.
@Kondziu166 сағат бұрын
@@fredylopez2477The difference is bigger than a lot of people think. Ukrainians understand Russian, but Russians don't really understand Ukrainian. The grammar is quite similar, but the vocabulary differs. In fact, Ukrainian is closer to Polish as they share greater lexical similarity. And no, it's not true that all of Ukraine speaks Russian and not Ukrainian. I'd say it's split between the two languages somewhat equally, with a slight dominance of Russian, especially in the east. Most Ukrainians living in the western parts of the country tend to prefer Ukrainian but I believe that even those who speak Ukrainian on the daily basis know Russian. And, on top of that, there is Суржик (Surzhyk), which is a mixture of both languages, and it's also commonly used across the country.
