When mountain climbing, best to watch the forecast and wear proper gear. Climbing that mountain in wet conditions looks to be extremely dangerous. Also, best to climb with another person. If you get injured, it could be a long while before help arrives.

I dont watch these Farangs In Thailand vlogs because they are usually extremely boring - "ooh look at me I'm living in Thailand" - as if somehow that is video worthy (it isn't). The rest of us living here just get on and do stuff. Usually WAY more interesting stuff. Without needing to bore everyone on KZbin about it. And there is no shortage of Farangs doing stupid dangerous things in Thailand. Plenty of them get killed or injured each year. @@Alex-mu4ue thanks but no. Why do you think you don't see any vlogs from people in Thailand with a car loaded with dive, cycling, and hiking gear? Because all the vlogs are essentially from incredibly boring people who are really just long stay tourists doing horribly touristy things and getting excited about eating street food. My (age appropriate) Thai GF and I had some epic adventures during Covid and met some amazing people - non of who were vlogging because a) we were just too busy making the most of it (who wants to waste a nice day editing video, or spend a day in an amazing place with your focus on getting good content instead of just being present??) and b) no-one really wants to see it. People who watch this crap just want to see boring shit like street food and a walking street (two video topics that always get the most views).

I was here in 2017. It was a grueling climb with endless steps at the beginning, but once you get to the pipe ladders, it wasn't tiresome anymore. The view was worth it.

A tough video but you know what, I actually think videos like this are very important to show because a lot of travel content producers only show the rainbows and balloons side of things and that gives a false version of reality. What you've done here Paddy is show the reality of travel content and that is every bit as fascinating, educational and important as videos where its sunlight and cocktails. I've climbed a couple of mountains before. My display pic was taken when I was on Mount Rinjani in Indonesia. I always tell people that the most dangerous part of climbing any mountain is the descent. Not many people would think about that. I'm glad you made it down safely. Now to the next mountain!

AGREE COMPLETELY as i lived in a resort town of mountains and hiking, would guide my guests, family, friends on the trails. I was like a pro because of what i learned so gave a speech of trail etiquette, ecology, and safety. If someone joked i got deadly serious and said you overestimate YOUR skills and underestimate the dangers so take it serious or we dont go! Flip flops sandals funky shoes were always the first most important to go! Water average 1 gallon per person for short-they ALL complain till on the hike and gulping it thankfully! 🙏🏻❤️

The drone view is breathtaking but These was exactly remind me Angthong Marine sharpen cliff , It was back then in year 2011 when the upward staircase is bloody not finish and more worst at nearly top as these one. and i climb back down in the rain as ur situation also, many stumble rock scratch on ankle. Paddy, The noise that coming out of your dreamy is the setting of the valve not so good. If you got time please go to bigger and experts bike garage for fix it. (In long term if you didn't fix it you'll lose your bike acceleration)

Great vlog Paddy, fair play for walking up those steps to the devils ridge, not for the faint hearted but wow, well worth the view.. Getting the flat tyre was a nightmare, driving with the flat may have ruined the tyre and tube and i hope u did'nt scratch the new exhaust when the bike fell.

Amazing Paddy!… defo putting this on my bucket list 🙏 And for the record, I bl@@dy hate those moneys too!! Dreamy’s had a long and hard life… but she’s got plenty more life in her. Just a bit of water in the electrics maybe. Or on some honda’s there is a drain hole near the spark plug (obviously to drain any water that wells up near the plug). See if Dreamy has that drain hole and if so, shove a paper clip down it as it might be blocked. She’ll probably be fine when she’s dried out.

It's looks very dangerous. The metal stairs are so steep and look slippery. It is so scary by just watching you climbing up and down those stairs. Thank you for showing this to us. I can't imagine how you are able to record the video while climbing on those stairs. You are a brave man. Although it seems like the view is beautiful when you got up to the top, but I don't think I want to climb up high on those vertical slippery metal stairs just to see the view. It is more frightening when you are up high climbing and look down from those very steep stairs without the ropes or wearing gloves.
