You can become a master at coding, making bank in finance etc but if you haven't been with a woman before and have zero experience, that rejection fear can become insane when you get close to a chick in RL. Like even as a guy who has been married, with lots of women, I know and have seen how ruthless women are about shit testing virgins or non-confident men. Makes a lot of guys with no experience collapse instantly. Women f'ing hate virgins. That is why they keep trying to lock down Chad's, even they know they are trying to lock them down and will get thrown the curb by them lol

Amen. Classy shirt, Rich (not really). All this is too much, really. I plan to not get involved with this insane dating world stuff and remain alone (no kids, never married, don't date) unless God has a special plan for me. My religion also doesn't allow for "fornication". So, since I have no successful career, no "game", etc, this isn't for me. 300k at 28 wow! That’s highly impressive young man. You clearly spent lots of time working on your hustle and that’s a great path to take. Now that you’ve got your finances together start spending more time spinning plates. The confidence with women comes with experience. Keep working on your fitness. The needy stuff should start going away with age. There is no quicker way to scare a woman off then being needy with her, you should really really work on having multiple women to hang out with that way you’re not being so needy with just one. You lack options my friend. If you’ve got 3 decent women on your roster you’ll gladly lose the needy behavior. I was needy myself until about 33 ish. The sooner you eliminate that behavior the better off your life will be. You’re on a good path! Keep going.

It's about boundaries / self-discipline, which includes having limits with one's mother. She can't rent space in her son's head, especially when he is in a serious relationship with a woman to replace his mother, so to speak. ( Big difference between evaluating a potential spouse for how she can blend in with one's blood family and vice versa VS only marrying who mother approves of. ) Part of what having boundaries AND re-enforcing them means is that he will grow stronger to the point where the Guilt Complex weakens and gets thrown off. For some, it is a lot of work. Gotta do the work, and in today's world oftentimes Feminism wants to have that power over men. Kinda like how suffocating mothers do.

The problem is with most people not interiorizing the message, not with the message itself or the manoswamp. This goes for pretty much any tutorial or coaching, even with fitness, where you immediately resort to what you were prior to starting training once you stop training. That's why personal trainers are so popular. yet, the results are not seen in the society. P.S. Any so-called trainer or coach or guru should be leading you up to a point where you no longer need them because you have embedded their message/method into your system, not always keep you in a leech and in a slave mentality by making you dependent on them.
@machtnichtsseimann

Same with a good pastor/priest. Not dependent as a child just believing everything they say and teach, but a good teacher ( religious and otherwise ) will build up and empower one to mature and think critically for oneself. Agree and disagree, which a good teacher will embrace, not reject. ( Allowing for extremes being problematic. ) It can be a bit surprising and disappointing when men, including those who have their YT channels, don't own up to their mistakes while preaching about Improvement. OK. We all can have our hypocrite moments. So, keep on keepin' on.

The way the guy thinks, it reminds me of a woman's mindset. I too had this problem and now have worked far away from it. A good way to start thinking more masculine is to stop worring about your or someone else's feelings. Instead think objectively. Such as ask what do I think about something instead of how do I feel about it. This kind reprogramming takes time but will work and you will not even think about these thoughts a few years around the road. Just stay consistent being masculine.

"Release Your Brakes" is another great book to help... What I see from myself is that hanging around with losers is probably the worst offender to my self-confidence. Some good habits that helped me were cold showers in the mornings, affirmations, and doing exercise the way I f*cking like it, which is outside at the park, without my shirt on. It's miraculous that when I do whatever the f*ck I want without hurting other people physically in the process, then I get a full boost of confidence. I mean, WOW right? :P But you have to wear the big boy pants to face the shaming or perceived shaming from strangers. But whenever I wear these pants for a few months time consistently, my life gets an upgrade. WOW right? There is no complicated code. ZERO FUCKS GIVEN, as long as you don't hurt other people physically (or destroy the peace, playing drums during midday and such)

One simple rule I always enforce is that I never respond faster then they do. Also I will never double text without a reply ever NO MATTER WHAT… this is the simplest way to start eliminating needy behavior. It says to me that my value is higher then hers if she’s replying to me much faster then I am her. It subconsciously lets her know that I’m the prize. I personally don’t text them back sooner then a few hours most the time.

@E KL any woman I ever talk to clearly knows that I’m interested. When we are sexual and when we are together in person I am clearly letting her know I’m into her. *MOST women will gladly take a man off his purpose and try to text him all day all night. It’s a mans job to stay focused and busy, therefor not being able to text all day and night. This leaves her always wanting more And she’s appreciative of what she gets. She knows he’s the prize simply by his lack of constantly needing her attn. if you shower a women with text time all day long the attraction quickly fizzles out. She has to wonder about you.

One big thing I haven't seen anyone bring up is intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation. So much focus external sources proving your value and trying to interpret it as internal. The things aren't necessarily of value...you create the value. If you lost everything and had to start from scratch, you can obtain all that again. I'd say the source of value is the most important thing.

I learned in my early 20s (after some advice from my dad), that basically all the problems in my life were self created. Once I stopped that behavior, life became a lot better. Sure problems still come up, but deal with it and move on. Its like these dudes who get cheated on in basically every relationship. You keep picking garbage women to commit to and dismiss the red flags they show. I had a friend that was like this years ago, took a nasty divorce to finally get it through to him.

That's something I realized pretty early in my life. My 27 year old brother still hasn't figured it out. Things you do right now have long term consequences. They may not manifest immediately, or even a year later, but at some point they will come knocking and you will have to pay for it. When I sit back and think about all the things that have happened to me I would say the vast majority of them were my fault in some way. The bad relationships were my fault b/c the red flags and the signs were there. I either ignored them, downplayed them, or didn't have enough experience to know what was good or bad. My current lack of relationships, both romantic and platonic, is my fault b/c I don't put myself out there and I didn't maintain the friendships I had. Its all self created.

For why I personally see a therapist: When going through some tough times, medically and emotionally, not da girls related, actual out of balance chemistry in my body related things, it helped to talk to someone to work through the feelings I was having and the panic attacks I was having, for no apparent reason. Rather than verbal vomiting on my friends. They always didn't solve everything, but while in therapy, I've usually made some good breakthroughs for me and my life. Respected her for not wanting it 3 years I felt the love and infection with very dough. But still loved her with all my heart and always there for her and our children. But no matter what I did meant nothing to her. Never thought I would be living this kind of life but that is about to all change.

Rich, that book by Maxwell Maltz was my bible when it first came out and was extremely helpful to me in changing habit from self defeating to positive. I would also highly recommend it.

It’s all well and good to take those old beliefs out behind the shed and beat and bury them, but no one seems to be able to articulate HOW to beat and bury them. It’s always a “should” but never a “how”. My perception is that this is because these beliefs were formed when we were babies and had no prior reference points when we learned new things. Therefore our foundation is largely undefinable and untouchable.

Have issues being married that never imagined would have. My wife has a few minor issues mentally. We dated for little over a year and a half. During that time we grew closer and closer. Seem to strongly understand each other's issues but had nothing but love for each other no matter what whether things were for better or worse but turn out to not be so. She grew up without a father just a verbally abusive mom in twin sister. It didn't matter to me that she had that kind of life but now it seems she just married me to get away from her mother. We were 30 and 33 When we married with her being older than me. The age different meant nothing to me. But now it's over, fixing to be divorce. She tried multiple times to get me to leave cuz she wasn't happy in some ways still can't figure out why she was. I multiple times children I'm not going to walk out on my family but the only way that I would leave the house was in a patrol car or ambulance it turned out to be in a patrol car. Was charged with batter and family violet. What happened was my oldest daughter who's 15 now has had problem with drugs for 3 years now and being around toxic friends that my wife allowed her and I tried every way to prevent it from happening but there was no luck. One day I caught my daughter with cigarettes and pot smoking and decided to be funny and I grabbed a cigarette and I get barely rubbed it on her sweatpants put it out which really did nothing. Didn't even burn through but her damn friend who's also on drugs had her mom called the police. Never would have imagined something like that what happened to me. Yes I was arrested mugshot and fingerprint of course. So was removed from my house by defect and waited. I was found not guilty of abuse or neglect and was cleared but the damage was done. I tried to live with my wife and daughters but she didn't want me no more and was threatened three times. So couldn't make peace with them decided to file for divorce just can't take it no more.

It’s so hard.. I really am try to be optimistic. I was diagnosed with major depression due to suicide attempt in family, abuse, death of my dad, having no friends and war in my country in Syria. I left antidepressants and trying to deal with it myself, but the self hate thoughts are so intense. I’m not giving up on being optimistic but it’s hard especially when other people tell you that you’re bad luck. The sadness is too intense and therapists are useless

Really needed this video since a girl just flaked on me who I really thought was invested. Most annoying part about it on our 2nd date she got pretty awkward so I told her that I would take a step back and let her do her thing. She insisted that we hang out again for a 3rd date which we did, went seemingly well considering she came upstairs... Then flaked on the 4th date with only 2hrs notice on a Friday night. Just goes to show that women operate by what they feel in that very moment and basically nothing else. I have to admit it was irking me just like the guy who emailed, but Rich is right. Just gotta accept it and move on since there is no man on the planet that this hasn't happened to at least once.

My advice to this guy who wrote is that he should stop caring so much what other think including women. I also believe that some things comes with age aswell. He seems to have much going for him and he should be proud of that. Anyone else who think otherwise could F-off.

Trying to start a new life for myself. A life of decrease in stress start improving my health. Right now and for years I'm severely obese and have been half my life. I believe now that I can make a huge change regarding my health my emotional pain and abuse that have experienced for many years. But I am so shy and nervous approaching women and feel that I can't be good enough for them. I have a job making under $30,000 a year. A friend of mine keeps telling me that I need to date again after divorce but I'm just not sure if possible. I'm just not sure how I can date again because of afraid of being judged by minor memory problems. Not sure how a woman would feel regarding them issues. Would like to date again but no I'll never marry again do to all the hurt and pain I have inside from such a painful marriage.
