What a hassle! I really wanted the 09 VK Pro I have, and then really wanted something with the ACE, but haven't pulled the trigger. I'm kinda disenchanted with the electronically dependent 4 strokes, but I don't want to jump into the VK540 either until more locals get some time on them. It may be my next machine though.

This was entirely preventable. I knew I was due a new battery but Yukon Honda didn't have any in stock so I tried to wait and get a few more trips. Nope. I now have two nw batteries in parrallel and should be good for 3-4 more years.

I have a 2019 expedition skidoo looks like yours and the past two days extreme cold and won’t start. Can you tell me is my battery placed where your is and do I need to remove my seat to get to it?

Not sure... you should never have to remove the seat to get at the battery. I think the expedition battery might be in the engine compartment.

If getting towed home is the ride of shame, what is it called when you have to hug someone from the backseat on the ride back to town cause your machine won't run at all? Problems us Arizonan's don't deal with.

Spend the cash and get a gell battery. I have one in my HD from 2000. It takes a charge every year. Top them up with water in the off season goes a long way, too.

@@north61 I have 20 year old deep cycles running. Keep them topped up and charged. A Battery Tender is ur friend. Dad never kept batteries in any order; we were always pushing tractors off hills to start them. Yeah, I was born in the 1960's, but we lived like it was 1920.
