@@projectxrapture The Outer Worlds was anything BUT "deep". I'd argue it doesn't even need to be deep. New Vegas isn't necessarily deep either. The problem with the Outer Worlds were the perks. New Vegas made up for it's simplicity by giving us really unique perks. Outer Worlds perks were super basic.

The combat looks so close to being good... But the hit reactions and detection on the enemies looks suuuuper lame and unsatisfying. The actual first person melee looks like it could be very fun if they can fix the way the enemies react to being hit. Love the art style

They need to sort out their enemies' priorities URGENTLY! See how they completely ignore their teammates and go straight for the player. It's hell for games that have this. It's an immersion break. Something that Dragon's Dogma 2, for example, understood very well.
