In the Aliens vs Predator 2010 multiplayer game, players can choose to play as either a fierce Xenomorph alien, a cunning Predator, or a resourceful Marine. Each faction has its unique abilities and playstyle, making for a thrilling and immersive experience.
As a Xenomorph, players can climb walls and ceilings, move swiftly and silently, and use their deadly tail and claws to take down enemies. They can also spread terror among the human marines.

Today I played multiplayer for this game for my first time, I was in the alien team and there was one predator, sounds easy right? But theres a problem, Bro absolutely manhandled all of my team

Used to play this for hours on 360. Was usually me (RandomRampage) a RL mate (DetonatorOrgan) and a friend we made along the way (DuttySherwood). Really good times on the Infection-style mode especially on the temple level. Alien was my go-to in species DM. Used to wreck face.

@Repic Cinematic as hell though for infection mode. The same story me and my friend always recollect is 2 of us standing in one of the end chambers waiting for the door in front of us to open. Radar had that door lit up like a Xmas tree. I notice the side doors start to close as the front one opens. I jump through the closing door as my friend gets swarmed 😆. Good Times

I wish I played this game back in it’s hey day. I played tf out of Aliens: Colonial Marines though so I guess that’s something at least lol. Lurker was my favorite ofc. Soldier was a close second though.

I was ranked in the top 20 alien players back in the day. I was God tier at xeno. I enjoyed avp 2010 but dear god was it imbalanced; pred plasma spam, pred jump plasma casting so they couldn’t be touched and could still aimbot you, alien wall tail spam, marines camping a corner with a one shot shotgun, heavy melee spam (was really bad on pred because it’s heavy melee charges near instantly so you just spam it and win), etc etc the list goes on. I think that’s why I preferred AVP2 (2001) over AVP(2010). It just felt more balanced and had more depth. The melee system in this game was wack because it gave two factions who already have ranged attacks a way to defeat a faction that only has melee attacks. In AVP2 if you allowed a predalien or praetorian player in your face as a marine or predator, it’s over for you. You fucked up and you didn’t use your arsenal properly. There was more counter play to all the marine and predator weapons and tools, but aliens got basically instantly disintegrated if they got caught out. Every faction felt like kings of specific thing. Here the predator is king but in really stupid brainless ways whereas the other two factions had to play around its bullshit. Here with this game they gave the alien who’s only form of attacking is melee a longer charging heavy melee that can easily

The game actually works a lot better in FFA, like they had in the demo. Then the predator player really is a solo player completely out for himself, the marines are grossly underpowered and tend to form truces and congregate around powerful weapon spawns and defensible areas, and the aliens have to form little packs to overwhelm the predators and marines. It's a beautiful system, enforced teamplay ruins it all.
