Double, looks like it was called off how the ball left Ryan's hands on that set

What was the argument at the end?

Pretty dumb IMO. Adam was arguing that Chase should not have been allowed to double the ball back over the net. He says something like "Not off the block. He had reaction time. ...His hands were not together." First of all, I'm pretty sure Chase's hands were together which immediately makes the play legal. But let's suppose they were not... Whether or not the ball came off the block is irrelevant. What matters is "did the defender have enough reaction time to properly set / pass the ball?". I don't think Chase did, making his play legal regardless of whether his hands were together.

Agree with Roberts here - if hands not together, it's bad. Why? Frishman jumped into it, demonstrating adequate reaction time and intent to play it back over. Again, with this adequate reaction time/intent, it can't be sloppy.

@@bengorman1722 What is getting missed here, is that unless the argument is hands-apart, finger-tip dig off of a non-hard driven ball? Hands apart is completely legal. There is no actual rule against it, unless the league there wrote it in.

“There’s no rule against hands apart digging on non-hard driven balls”? Traditional outdoor AVP rules state it’s illegal unless it’s clean.
