With regard to the reference in Jeremiah, the fishers and the hunters is a reference to the manner in which quary is obtained. Fishers used to cast wide nets and would gather in large quantities of fish. A hunter has to seek and find quary typically one at a time using a bow and arrow which is good only for one target at a time. Applied to being "fishers of men" in the missionary field, some might gather converts by the dozens or even hundreds. Growing up, I remember missionaries would baptize numerous converts in Mexico. When I was a missionary in Germany in the late 80s, I had to be a hunter, prayerfully trying to find anyone whose heart was soft and ready to hear my message and be baptized. It was extremely challenging.

Great interview, Oak! It has never been more important for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to recognize what their own scriptures are warning in plainness. Mormon saw the modern church, those who would be reading His compilation of records in a future day. “I speak unto you as if ye were present, and yet ye are not,” he said. “Jesus Christ hath shown you unto me, and I know your doing.” Mormon selected carefully and meticulously the words he knew we needed to hear. He pleads with the Gentile church to repent, and to see ourselves (and those "among us") for what we are. 2 Nephi 13: 12...O my people, they who lead thee cause thee to err and destroy the way of thy paths.... The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people and the princes thereof... the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their secret parts. 18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments, and cauls, and round tires like the moon (this is temple attire). Mormon 8:36-40 "The Lamanite record will come forth in a day of apostasy", "EVERY" church is polluted, SECRET COMBINATIONS MURDER THE SAINTS, leaders and teachers will envy those who belong to their churches , they “transfigure the word of God” , and are too ashamed to take upon them the name of Christ (only lds members have the capability of taking His name upon them BECAUSE they have the ordinances!) Mormon 5 The church itself is referred to as a "Gentile" church (see header) According to Joseph a Gentile is one who is not yet converted. 3 Nephi 16:10 the Gentile church will sin against the gospel and reject the fulness, be filled with priestcrafts, murder and SECRET COMBINATIONS. The fulness of the gospel will be brought OUT from among them. (I invite you to read this for yourself in context) Finally, Mormon chose to end his record with these words: 23 Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations (which he saw were in the church) shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain-and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer (allow, comply, "sustain", support, uphold, suffer) these things to be. 24 Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things COME AMONG YOU that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain (the vexxxines were not safe or effective and will continue to kill masses); for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up. Who built it up? The saints, to a large degree. The Book of Mormon is a STUNNING INDICTMENT of the Latter-day saints who claim it as their book. Who will hear it?

There are many, many Jews having encounters with Jesus (Yeshuah) and recognizing Him as Messiah. As a gentile I attended Messianic congregations in Israel. I also have been involved in a program called “Exobus” , a Christian organisation committed to supporting Jews in the diaspora, to make Aliya to live in Israel. The ingathering is happening as we speak. Operation Moses and Operation Solomon in the 1980’s was the extraordinary transport of Ethiopian Jews from Ethiopia to Israel. I have also attended the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem, twice, accompanying Christians from over 70 nations. Surely fulfilment of prophecy. Praise God for these wonderful events demonstrating the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💕💕💕

There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there is perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden. I really enjoy this topic and the insights. I love that we all have our own strengths and knowledge base and can share those with each other bc it feels impossible to study it all in depth. With that being said, i would remind people that while studying Isaiah is imprortant to understanding the time we live in, it's secondary to BECOMING converted to the gospel. I believe there will be those among the 144k who don't understand Isaiah's words to the degree of a professor or rabbi but will exceed them in glory. Knowing is good, but BECOMING is essential.

It seems like Gileadi is teaching doctrines that build on (without proper keys) already established doctrine and is overriding other ones that do not fit his narrative. I thought it was interesting how he avoided any questions around that topic that your audience picked up, and then declined to answer more when orthodox members were trying to fit in his ideas to orthodox doctrine. He seems quite prideful in his special knowledge and never misses an opportunity to chide other members for not recognizing his scholarship. It's all very interesting for sure! I do find it unnerving that he hints at certain ethnicities being of purer blood and that powerful people in this life were extra special in the pre existence.

I don't know why that's unnerving. It's how it was anciently with degrees of Gentile or Israelite blood in people, and we know from Abraham 3, there was a special class of "noble and great ones." That's the reason many of the younger spirits felt confident seeing all these noble ones volunteer for difficult missions to help them. Read Isaiah 6 for an example of how this worked.

President Nelson has told us that we need to be a part of gathering of Israel right now. I agree with what you’re saying to about the 144,000 but the gathering of Israel has begun. That is why we go to the temple, and do missionary work.

There is a difference between the gathering of Israel and the restoration of the tribes of Israel. Gileadi is referring to the restoration which is an event that rivals the exodus of Egypt, but our prophet speaks of the gathering which is a broader term including the preparation of a people worthy to establish Zion and all the associated endeavors. I don’t believe Gileadi understands there is a difference between the two.

Exactly. The gathering began with Joseph Smith and all the faithful saints that crossed the ocean and plains to gather to Zion. We are gathering Zion today and carrying our ancestors on our shoulders to the temple and sealing them to us. We are Saviors on Mount Zion.

The gathering of Israel has nothing to do with any institutional church, that is a huge misunderstanding of the scriptures to think that this magnificent event will be performed by a church or any institution. All you have to do is study the Book Of Mormon to see that this is not the case. The leaders and most members erroneously believe that the gathering of Israel is the same as joining the church, that is not what the scriptures and prophecies are saying. The missionary work, joining the church, attending temples and other related church activities are basically part of the fullness of the times of the Gentiles, it is a time where the Gentiles receive the Gospel and is given a time and opportunity to repent and fully convert to the Lord so they can be numbered among the House Of Israel, this period is coming to an end. It's called the End of the times of the Gentiles, it is after this that the Remnants of the House Of Israel will be gathered by the Lord and his commissioned servants (Not church leaders) but true empowered servants of God who will go out and gather the remnants, when this happens there won't be any institutional churches existing, the Gentile Nations(USA, Western European Nations) will cease to exist as nations, they will be destroyed by the modern day king of Assyria that Isaiah extensively prophesied about, an alliance of tyrant nations like the ancient Assyrians, will go out and invade and conquer the nations of the Gentiles. I suggest a diligent study of Isaiah and the Book Of Mormon to help better understand these events. Christ described the sequence of events in 3rd Nephi, and in the chapters 20 and 21 he describes the perils the Gentiles will be facing in the last days if they don't repent and turn to him. Right now people think they are comfortable in Zion, that Zion prospers, that we have temples, ecclesiastical leaders, etc. Just like the ancient Israelites and don't realize that we are in an awful situation, that ZIon is not yet established and we are in danger of destruction.

If the gathering of Israel hasn’t started yet, why does our prophet President Russell Nelson talk about it all the time? He says it’s the most important thing we do at this time and that anything we do to help someone stay on the covenant path is helping to gather Israel.

We are not actually gathering the greater portion of Israel. That's not our charge. It's up to the Servant mentioned in Isaiah. We have mainly been gathering the gentiles technically, who are then adopted into the house of Israel, and a skatering of tribes here and there. The actual Jews at this time have no interest in the restored gospel for the most part, and as genealogists we are told to NOT touch Jewish records. The scriptures talk about the bulk of the lost tribes being brought from the north in the last days, how it will be a great event and that 'hills will tremble at their presence'. So how can we truly be gathering Israel? It's a bit misleading to lay members. 🤷

Why is everyone neglecting to mention the eclipse that happened at exactly the midpoint between the seven year period? No coincidence there. And the repeated names of the cities each of these passed over are significant as well. For example, the first mentions Salem several times. The others cross over numerous church history sites and the last crosses over several sites named Jonah. One of the paths goes over "little Egypt" and over the New Madras fault line, which is what caused the devastation in the Book of Mormon. Yes, the Aleph and Tav do bear significañce, as well. We've been warned that the time for repentance or destruction is here.

Good discussion! I think that we need to remember what God has told us! We think like men! And because of that his thoughts are far above our thoughts! Some examples are found in scripture! Look at Paul he said quite clearly that ‘we look thru a glass dimly but will one day understand as we stand face to face’ Daniel as told DANIEL NOW! The guy that stood before hungry lions! As huge a prophet and leader that he was to the times he lived in, God said don’t fret Daniel seal them up! They’re not for you to understand! Or even the brother of Jared! Jesus told him he has never seen such great faith as was found in him, his faith was such that he could not be kept from behind the bail! Yet Jared would confess I did not know you had flesh! When the premarital Jesus showed himself in the body he would come to earth in. Or even when God had to chasen him for hours because he had neglected his prayer life and his relationship with Jesus! You guys here in this great discussion or me or Anyone on this earth! We are men and women of humanity! And we struggle with that separation! Jesus Christ has set all who have claimed him as Lord and have been washed in the waters of baptism and have been sopped in the blood of Jesus Christ! If each of us have placed his blood on the head post or lintel and the doorpost of our own temples, that of our bodies! He will Save us, redeem us, and deliver us, from our enemies both temporal and spiritual. I agree with the gentleman if I understood him, that the catching up likely is not referring to the tribulation and great tribulation times! But more probably the time of the new heaven and new earth. Otherwise, and yes I am thinking like a man. But if we are caught up or raptured as our Protestant family suggest. If we were changed and given a glorified body, why would there be a release of Satan from the abyss after 1000 years? Not saying it couldn’t be, but studying it out in my own mind. And it seems to make more sense that, when Jesus comes he comes to put all the nations under his Holy Rule, he comes back to claim what was stolen by the adversaries of God The Father. Those being Satan & The Carnal man. For both are enemies to God! When Jesus comes there will be no end to his kingdom and rule! However, could it be that when Jesus comes back and establishes his kingdom on earth, could it be that Satan is released for a short time because there will be children born during the millennial who will not have had the unalienable right of God to exercise their agency? I tend to believe that this is a very likely reason for this short release of Satan from the abyss. America is called to mission and ministry to the house of Israel, America & Israel are covenant nations and family until the Lord. Thanks Gentleman great discussion.

It hasn't. The physical, literal gathering, or in other words, the restoration of the tribes of Israel is yet future. You're probably thinking of a spiritual gathering in the form of missionary work that has been underway since the restoration of the gospel in Joseph Smith's day. See Article of Faith #10 which describes events yet future.

(3 Ne. 21:12-24). It is impossible to gather to a city that does not yet exist; the New Jerusalem must be built before anyone can gather to it. Nobody has been gathered to the New Jerusalem, not even the tribe of Ephraim, which is the only tribe that has been spiritually gathered to a significant degree. All 12 tribes must be spiritually and physically gathered. The time has not yet come when those who "will not repent and come unto [God's] Beloved Son" (3 Ne. 21:20) will be "cut off" (3 Ne. 21:11,13-17,20), nor has the time come when Christ will "be in the midst" (3 Ne. 21:25) of those who are "gathered in . . . unto the New Jerusalem" (3 Ne. 21:24). These things are also mentioned in the following verse: And also the Lord shall have power over his saints, and shall reign in their midst, and shall come down in judgment upon Idumea, or the world. (D&C 1:36) These things have clearly not yet occurred, but will take place some time in the future. The early saints gathered to Kirtland, Missouri, Nauvoo, Utah and other locations in the American west; but the Church has not emphasized physical gathering since the late 19th century. I was confused by the statement that we would be translated beings while living in the Millennium. It's probably my age, as I expect I will probably die before the 2nd Coming. Researching the idea further I learned that those who have died before the 2nd Coming will live during the millennium as resurrected beings; whereas those who haven't died yet will live through that time period as translated beings who will die in the twinkling of an eye when they reach 100 years old and then they will be resurrected beings. Avraham does acknowledge this is true, but it doesn't happen all at once, but through a transitional period. We didn't really get into this extensively in the interview. In response to something he said, I said, we'll all be translated beings in the millennium, which he responded to with, at some point after we attain that spiritual level. Neither of us were really diving deep into this topic but both of us acknowledge there will also be resurrected beings as you mention. This wasn't really part of the interview topic so it was lightly brushed on and so I apologize for any confusion from our lack of going into depth on it.

So is the fullness of the gentiles being fulfilled when we receive the fullness of the gospel in the sealed portion of the Book of Mormon? From what I understand it’s after the gentiles received the sealed portion of the Book of Mormon then the gathering of Israel will be accelerated. Then shortly after that the Jews are saved by Jesus Christ in the final battle of Armageddon the Jews will be the last tribe of Israel will taught the gospel last.

I'm just trying to find the connection to the book of revelation. It's not wrong for me to question and wonder things. Jesus own words warn of false prophets when asked about the last days. Those crossing the border are Lehi's descendants whom Jesus refers to in 3rd Nephi chapters 20 and 21, that they would be among the Gentiles as lions among the flocks of sheep, that if the Gentiles don't repent they would be trodden down under their feet and nothing would stop these remnants of Jacob. We can see that the most powerful Gentile nation on the planet cannot seem to stop them from coming and once they are here this Gentile Nation cannot seem to get them out no matter how much money and power they have. I would suggest reading those two chapters as they are very important and relevant to our day and what is happening at the border, those are the words that the Father commanded Jesus to speak and he did it twice, on chapter 20 and 21 of 3rd Nephi.

A response to some of those asking questions of Oak. "Do you think the leaders of the LDS church will hand over keys to the Davidic servant?" Yeah, the same way the High Priest of the Jews handed over the keys to Jesus. I say this sarcastically. Whom God sends, He empowers. The Davidic servants will be serving the whole world, not an isolated people in the mountains who think they are the center of the universe and they have everything they need. He will need greater keys (i.e. more knowledge) than it takes to run a multi-billion dollar corporation. "Wo to the drunkards of Ephraim!" Isaiah 28. Read what that chapter says. I love what Bro Gileadi said about the servants who will be assisting the principle end-times servant. I feel very impressed by the Lord to tell the latter-day saints to prepare so that they can assist this servant. The best way to prepare is to obtain your baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost, as Bro. Gileadi said. I know whereof I speak. Obtaining this baptism changes your entire outlook on things and exposes you to more revelation and more knowledge about God, than you ever dreamed possible. It would also be a good idea to ask the Lord to teach you how to receive the second comforter. In this day and age, there are "exceedingly many who have entered into the Lord's rest", no thanks to the church that never teaches this and tells you to shun those who do. Don't take the lazy way out and try to get by in life by serving the Lord as little as you possibly can. Unless you are VALIANT in the testimony of Christ, you won't make it. Instead, have the attitude that you will do everything you possibly can to further the Kingdom of God (not the church), here on the earth.

What? Only 3 branches in Zenos' allegory in Jacob 5, that is not what the words in those verses indicate. Oak, use your scripture notes and check Jacob 5:19-25, How many times is the servant told to "behold" a branch? How many branches were nourished? How many "brought forth fruit"? or "brought forth much fruit"?or "brought forth tame/wild fruit"? In Jacob 5:19-25 there are 4 branches, later in v39 there are only 3 branches; as if one of the branches died off. When I was a teenage I could introduce my 4 brethren, now I can only introduce 3, one died; would your guest claim that because now I can only introduce 3, I never had 4 brethren? This claim that there are only 3 branches in Jacob 5:19-25, when I clearly read of 4; makes it difficult to believe the rest of your guest's claims. Please, explain how these 4 branches are only 3. v20 "he beheld the first ... brought forth much fruit ... Take of the fruit ... Hi David, Jacob 5:39 shows there are only 3 daughter trees. Note how in verse 20 is the first one, "another" in verse 23, "another" in verse 24, but in verse 25 it's "behold the last" which must be the same tree in verse 24 because verse 39 clearly indicates only 3 trees.

If there are only 3, why does the lord of the vineyard describe "the last" with unique details that seperates that last from all of the prior branches? Try this: Read v19-20 then write a short description of that branch; then read v23 and write a short description of that branch; repeat this process for v24; then again for v25; after you have these branches described can you still claim the 3rd branch is also "the last" branch. Now with these descriptions, try an experiment, take someone into the yard and use the same phrasing to show 3 plants/trees then 4 plants/trees; which is more natural? I understand the claim that there are only 3 all the way through, but the phrasing and description leans more toward 4 branches than 3 branches. If we make claims contrary to the plain text, it leads to elevating the opinions of men over the written Word of the Lord. I have tried to read it most favorable to being only 3 branches, it simply doesn't fit the grammar and descriptions; this may indeed be an error of men and the translation of language. However, 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 4.

If you disagree, just do so with charity instead of contention. Did you read verse 39? It says: 39. "And it came to pass that they went down into the nethermost parts of the vineyard. And it came to pass that they beheld that the fruit of the natural branches had become corrupt also; yea, the first and the second and also the last; and they had all become corrupt." Clearly, 3 trees. So if verse 39 identifies very clearly there are 3 trees, then we have to backtrack and examine the previous verses and how they portray the trees. Personally, I am forced to acknowledge "behold the last" is a reference to the tree before it along with the lament about the work and effort put into it being partly repeated. If you don't agree, that's fine, but there seems to be clear justification for it in my view.

I'm not saying that Avraham is wrong in terms of the full gathering I think there are different gatherings being talked about here however I cannot respect Avraham's comment about not answering to or for President Nelson. This is in direct contradiction to what we believe in the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. The following is a quote from President Benson, "The most important prophet, so far as we are concerned, is the one who is living in our day and age. This is the prophet who has today’s instructions from God to us. God’s revelation to Adam did not instruct Noah how to build the ark. Every generation has need of the ancient scripture, plus the current scripture from the living prophet. Therefore, the most crucial reading and pondering that you should do is of the latest inspired words from the Lord’s mouthpiece. That is why it is essential that you have access to and carefully read his words. … Beware of those who would set up the dead prophets against the living prophets, for the living prophets always take precedence."

I don't believe Avraham said anything negative about the prophet. I think his point was essentially, exactly what the prophets are telling us. Go get taught by the Lord himself. Get personal revelation. Awake and arise. Put on the beautiful garments and priesthood strength. President Nelson has told us to do this multiple times. His April 2016 talk specifically told us to get taught by the Lord himself. This is the role of a prophet, to point us to Christ.

With respect to the Eclipse coming up in April, I would like to know Avraham's concept of how our earth really looks. Many scriptures indicate it is more of a flat plane. 1. THE LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved. [In other words, the world is not spinning, it is stationary]. (Old Testament | Psalms 93:1) 2. Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. [In other words, the world shall not be moved, it is not spinning, it is stationary]. (Old Testament | Psalms 96:10) 3. Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved. [the world is “stable,” meaning stationary, it is not moving or spinning through space!] (Old Testament | 1 Chronicles 16:30) 4. Have ye not known? Have ye not heard? [The Earth is topographically Flat and stationary] hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? In the Jerusalem Bible, Genesis 1: 6-8 it says: “God said, ‘let there be a vault’ [in ancient Semites, the “arch,” or “vault” of the sky was a solid dome holding the upper water in check.] ‘in the waters to divide the waters in two.’ And so it was. God made the vault, and it divided the waters above the vault from the waters under the vault. God called the vault “heaven.” Evening came and morning came; the second day.” I don't trust our current science of the Big Bang and evolution. Creation is about God and our relationship with him.

I would suggest you are misinterpreting those verses. Fixed courses means they have a set path which they obey. Planets are intelligent and have some measure of agency to move as they are instructed by God (Abr. 4:18). Face means surface. When we say look at that person’s face, we don’t assume they have a flat head. Heads are generally roundish, just like planets. As for movement, the earth surely moves and is round. Nephi taught the earth has a center and moves around the sun. Helaman 12 10. And by the power of his voice they are broken up, and become smooth, yea, even like unto a valley. 11. Yea, by the power of his voice doth the whole earth shake; 12. Yea, by the power of his voice, do the foundations rock, even to the very center. 13. Yea, and if he say unto the earth-Move-it is moved. 14. Yea, if he say unto the earth-Thou shalt go back, that it lengthen out the day for many hours-it is done; 15. And thus, according to his word the earth goeth back, and it appeareth unto man that the sun standeth still; yea, and behold, this is so; for surely it is the earth that moveth and not the sun. I wonder tho that is it a crossing out as much smiths a majestic signing and marking by God that this land is His, it is a choice land that has an everlasting covenant upon it! Well, for one thing, it's a method of preserving truth. Because those transcribing or translating things didn't understand them, they didn't change them like other more clear things experienced when someone didn't like what was written. Secondly, these things are only meant to be understood by the spirit of prophesy so it's an incentive to make the time and pay the price to become sanctified so that we are better prepared for the coming events.

It's not confusing at all, all Prophets spoke of the same events, Isaiah, Daniel, Ezequiel, Enoch, Moses, Nephi, Lehi, Mormon, Moroni, Joseph Smith. The problem in the church is that we tend to study the scriptures in segments and use isolated verses to enhance the credibility of the institution and the leaders instead of studying it for what it really is.
