Katherine, Thank you for your kind message. Her death was so sudden, and so unexpected. I looked for her for a week. I looked everywhere. I posted on my FB page because so many of my people knew her. No one had seen or spoken with her in a week. She never went even 2 whole days without checkin in with me or her younger brother by text or phone...NEVER! I knew something was wrong but I really didnt think I'd get the call I got that day. 3-4 people hid her body in an abandoned apt bldg the 30th of July. She was found Aug 4th. The heat had been over 100 degrees that entire week. Her body was ruined. They ID'd her by her fingerprints. I was absolutely lost as was her younger brother. He is 13 yrs her jr. so she was like another mom to him. His heart is broken. The pain still comes to us in those huge crashing waves that knock you down and its damn near unbearable!! Jessalinn was a wonderful mother, a big sister that has whipped the crap outta ga grown man for getting bully with her younger brother. She was fiesty she was confident and she was full of life. Loved MGK and Avril. I get on here to listen to Avril every night because it makes me feel close to my daughter. We loved this song best. she'd sing it out loud with me in the car. we'd have so much fun. Laugh till our stomachs were sore over some of our silliness. I'm going to go play some Avril for her, Kathgerine. So my prcious Jessalinn, this is for you. Mom loves you baby, 3000!!!
@skaterkid9012 жыл бұрын
@@amyguiltyascharged I'm sorry for your loss Amy. She still loves you, don't worry. Jessalinn is just getting the stage ready in the Lord's Heaven for when you see each other again. Avril Lavigne - Losing Grip (2002) [Verse 1] Are you aware of what you make me feel, baby? Right now I feel invisible to you, like I'm not real Didn't you feel me lock my arms around you? Why'd you turn away? Here's what I have to say Avril Lavigne - Losing Grip [Pre-Chorus] I was left to cry there Waitin' outside there Grinning with a lost stare That's when I decided [Chorus] Why should I care? 'Cause you weren't there when I was scared I was so alone You, you need to listen I'm startin' to trip, I'm losing my grip And I'm in this thing alone [Verse 2] Am I just some chick you placed beside you to take somebody's place? When you turn around, can you recognize my face? You used to love me, you used to hug me But that wasn't the case Everything wasn't okay [Pre-Chorus] I was left to cry there Waitin' outside there Grinning with a lost stare That's when I decided [Chorus] Why should I care? 'Cause you weren't there when I was scared I was so alone You, you need to listen I'm startin' to trip, I'm losing my grip And I'm in this thing alone [Bridge] Cryin' out loud, I'm cryin' out loud Cryin' out loud, I'm cryin' out loud Open your eyes Open up wide Why should I care? 'Cause you weren't there when I was scared I was so alone [Chorus] Why should I care? 'Cause you weren't there when I was scared I was so alone Why should I care? If you don't care, then I don't care We're not goin' anywhere [Chorus] Why should I care? 'Cause you weren't there when I was scared I was so alone Why should I care? When musicians first start out they are usually free musically and srarching for their sound so sometimes their best stuff is made then. Later on after the money and fame the raw talent isn't there anymore but the exoerience is which makes songs sound more professional or radio freindly because that = dollars in the tens of millions $$$

Well, she hinted in the "he wasn't" mv that she's going to emo scene phase. Maybe you should watch her all mv in order for you to know how her and her music evolves. Just bcoz Avril is notable for a tomboyish or rock star doesn't mean she'll be remained constant. If you don't mind, Avril's songs in her all albums have rock/pop punk touches which means she still keep her genre were she used to be. Also, her evolution was in progress not just by sudden change.

LOL. Are you really not aware all her songs were written for her by a team with radio play and money the main objective. They added a bit of angst and rock guitars and adopted the early 00s skater/punk image to sell more records. Avril was chosen as their puppet because she was hot, that's it. No depth or authenticity at all.
@justanamber10 жыл бұрын
I get quite annoyed when people start saying that they love this avril and they wish she kept making music like this because everyone changes, anyone who reads this wasn't the same as they were two years ago and neither is Avril Lavigne just because she's a celebrity or whatever it doesn't mean she won't change. I accept atists can change, but what I don't accept is that they change because the mainstream forces them. But I'm not sure if that's the case. Maybe this is really the music she likes. In my opinion the mainstream music isn't orginal enough these days and Avril seems to go with it. Ofc she still has some good songs, i.e. Let Me Go, but I think her first 2 albums were the best. There aren't any other albums which I like every song of the album.

If she wants the money now and be forgotten tomorrow she is on the right path. As Led Zeppelin would say... Yes, there are Two paths you can go by, but in the long run... There's still time to change the road your on. Think about it and stop whining like a little school girl.

I love this song! It's one of those songs where you can actually feel the vibe of what the artist is singing about. the beginning half where she feels hurt and betrayed then building up to the middle of the song where she feels anger finally leading to the end where she basically says "whatever". Too bad that none of the modern artists of today smashed together couldn't even touch the caliber of this song. We NEED music like this back.

When you turn around can you recognize my face? You used to love me, you used to hug me But that wasn't the case Everything wasn't okay I was left to cry there Waiting outside there Grinning with a lost stare That's when I decided Why should I care? 'Cause you weren't there When I was scared I was so alone You, you need to listen I'm starting to trip I'm losing my grip And I'm in this thing alone Crying out loud I'm crying out loud Crying out loud I'm crying out loud Open your eyes Open up wide Why should I care? 'Cause you weren't there When I was scared I was so alone Why should I care? 'Cause you weren't there When I was scared I was so alone Why should I care? If you don't care Then I don't care We're not going anywhere Why should I care? 'Cause you weren't there When I was scared I was so alone Why should I care? If you don't care Then I don't care We're not going anywhere

This is the best thing she’s ever created. Halsey always makes music that’s relatable to us. We hear certain songs and love them because they resonate. This song was just for her. About her. And it just touched my soul for her and everything she’s having to go through. And as a 90s girl growing up thinking Britney Spears also wasn’t a real person just a perfect star I wanted to be like, This hits different!.

Yeah, it's here best. I usually like Evanescence more, especially the new take cover live, but Avril is superb too.

@@paulyt4814 what metal head likes pop. I mean I'm sure some do but come on why even ask me that. I did say I absolutely love this song though what more do you want from me

2024, and this song still hits hard. I love this Avril era, so much like Alanis' jagged little pill. ❤

ROCK GODESS - People that aspire to better life, not this robotic soulless existence, of course they will be depressed, because it is hard to see a way fighting and beating this shit... it seems that people finally showed their true nature, and technology made it possible. It 's all because of the technology! I remember 90s and 2000s... it was way different!
