Aside from this incredible technology, the way he gives humble respect to other tech types is fantastic. No naysaying or downplaying the 'cool factor' of other ways of doing things. Really sell him and his product/vision on top of what light field already achieves!

Enjoyed the show. Have missed you for years. QUESTION is there a 4k bluray player with stretch mode for anamorphic bluray thanks for a reply

I would be curious to know if they are thinking of applying this to VR. It seems to me that building a small high res solid light display several inches from your eyes that enables a fully functioning light field would be much easier then building a giant 10 by 10-foot wall.

No Fundamentally different

@@dedlunch I am aware the technology is different then what VR currently uses. What I am asking is why this tech couldn't be applied to a VR headset. Is there a minimum range this has to be from the users eyes in order to create the illusion? Is the resolution not high enough? The refresh rate too slow? What is the stumbling block?

@@NinetooNine you don't have the computer power, VR kinda sucks I prefer magic leap myself, You bring VR into the real world VR is 100% escapist Literally a full server rack

Haptic gloves would be a good quick fix for not being able to feel the hologram in the short term.

Realfiction and their ECHO technology is the “shit” and you are going to see very soon. True holographic content in a thin display. LCD, OLED and probably microLED. Low cost and easy to mass produce. High resolution, multiple viewers, no glasses. Directional pixels and eye tracking system. Public demonstrations this fall. A 17” LCD display. No problem to scale up. Can show different content at the same time to different viewers 👍👍. You will probably see the first ECHO-display in cars. Then it will spread to many different segments. Health care, military, industry, education, CAD, home tv and much more. The world is waiting for this👍👍

So far I cannot see any 3D effect/parallax of that chameleon, which is a bit suspicious. It looks very much 2d/pepper ghost-like... What's also highly suspicious is the fact there's always a massive set design around the "hologram"... why? What are you hiding? I'm getting Theranos vibes from this, but I hope I'm wrong.

Every time I hear about hologrsphic technology, I think of Sega’s game Time Traveler and some of the LED 3D building facade displays. Unfortunately with my eyesight, the stereoscopic-based technology doesn’t work for me

I'm really annoyed with the framing of like" too technical" "some viewers" dont worry bro we are are engineers farmers, rocket scientists.. and we got gpt.. We can figure it out. All this bs just makes me become skeptical. Who has seen the technology 1 women and billgates? In a highly controled location.. fishy af scammy also. Oh wait where did u all go for 2 year.
