Avtex TV and Soundbar Review

If you use an HDMI rather than coax to connect the TV and soundbar it will use ARC to send the sound. As a result the TV will automatically divert sound to the bar and the TV remote will control the soundbar volume.

Hi Oliver, we bought our first caravan (a 2020 Bailey Unicorn Vigo Black) at the NEC last week & have watched with interest your video on your TV setup. Based on your video, we have gone for the exact same set up as you guys - we secured a cracking deal on an Avtex package at the NEC last week (TV, Soundbar, Avtex Carry Case & USB stick) all for well under £500. To me it looks like the ideal solution, very tidy, great quality, perfect dimensions and I love the idea of the undermounted soundbar. Great video!!!

Hello Oliver just saw your video on Avtex TV and avtex soundbar Bluetooth connection. Am looking at buying these Avtex TV and soundbar but not sure what tv will be big enough for our camper. Please can you tell me the size off your tv is it a 24" looks might that might be what am after. Don't want too go too small as our van is long. Thanks Paul

Really good review of the sound bar I’m still undecided on spending out for it but was considering using my Bose Mini Soundlink 2 which has really good audio quality although very different to the full soundbar

Hi does the avtex soundbar fit to the avtex TV without a, seperate bracket? Does a bracket come with the soundbar? I have a 24 inch avtex Pro on a bracket but want to know how the soundbar attaches before I purchase one. Thank you 👍

The bracket comes with the soundbar and you just attach with a few bolts. It’s a huge difference and I highly recommend the soundbar. Hope that helps, Oliver

Hi I've just bought a 2nd hand TV but no sound bar so if I buy one then can it be powered straight off the TV as I'm not sure if my caravan has a 12v socket, I've not checked as I'm new to caravaning and need to check when I go to the storage place.

Hi great review thank you. I have both the Avtex tv and Avtex soundbar which are great for playing dvds but when playing films from my hard drive and fast forward or pause, the picture and speech are out of sync. Can this be corrected or is it a flaw in the Avtex setup. ?

I’m not sure unfortunately we never experienced this issue. Might be worth speaking with Avtex.
