@@jamesmckenna4460 considering that in dark tide, we are dealing with a nurgle infestation, it would be a plague marine who in lore are almost immune to anything short of anti tank weapons. It could be an actual, proper boss fight, unlike the sad little captains on assassination missions that literally get mugged. Give it a bolter that kills in 3-4 hits, make him a monster in melee.

Takes a shitload of damage to kill, and is basically speedhacking. I don't think it would be very fun.

One thing I enjoy about being targeted by Rinda. Having the Devil's Claw sword and parrying every single blow she does. It's really that spammable, that you can immediately attempt to parry again after being struck. (And she takes a good chunk of damage each parry).

@@killsode4760 What makes him dangerous is that his plasma gun will fuck with your ability to do anything like revive allies or mulch hordes, and his smoke grenades will build up corruption fast enough that if you get bogged down, you're cooked instantly, while ALSO buffing enemies. Similar to how having a good veteran backing your squad with Voice of Command can instantly reverse a last stand into a sally.

So my first fight with him I was like, "Alright, Lets Go.", went in for a heavy swing and he was GONE. He was chasing a squadmate and I couldn't keep up at all. I was half expecting him to sheath his sword while my squad delay KOs when he did finally stop. Then the next few times he goes without the bolting about and he goes down easy. Guess it depends on mission difficulty. :/

Calling it now, the new fire rework is gonna get nerfed. It’s nice toughness doesn’t get turned off by touching it, but it’s damage is just too high now. My teammate used the veteran revive shout to pick me up in fire and I died instantly before I could even stand up.

Its not that it needs a nerf its just that its bugged and needs to be fixed. Someone mentioned you're still building fire stacks while downed and upon being revived its still kicking in and you take a TON of damage immediately. The Devs are aware of it but it hasn't been fixed yet I think.
