I want to clarify the statement Greg Gagne made about funding for the book I wrote about his father, Verne Gagne. Greg stated that he never would have let me write the book if he knew I needed funding for the book to be published. That statement is not true! I have already spent over $2,700 of my own money to get this book proof read, edited and ready for publication by an established publisher. I setup the donation page to help with expenses that I have incurred. That is not including the trips I made to MN and research websites I paid for to do research on Verne Gagne. Greg has not put any money into this project. I also informed Greg of setting up the donation page prior to doing it and he said " I don't care how you get the money." So, I was taken aback when I saw and heard Greg say that he never would have let me do the book, if he knew I needed funding on the book, on this podcast. I could have self published, but I wanted the book to be properly proof read, edited and published to all the major outlets both online and in brick & mortar stores, which Greg was also aware of, so fans would enjoy a quality read. This is the first book I have written and it took me nearly two years to complete. The book is in the final phase of editing and will be out within the next few months. The book is titled VERNE Inside & Outside the Ropes. As always, my good friends Chris Tubbs, Mick Karch and Joe Ciupik do a great show!

Good job Chris! I feel that Greg is very consistent when asked about the same things from many years ago. The new thing that caught me ear was the talk about Billy Robinson. I viewed him as the most over exposed guy in the AWA and the guy that Vern and the AWA pushed and was more than fair to him. Disappointing to hear this stuff about Robinson. Not suprised about the Jesse story.
