Pakistan’s egregious raison d’être at Independence in 1947 was the falsely invented, untenable denial of its “motherland”, India, linked conveniently at the time to Islam. To justify its caesarean birth, Pakistan needed to transform itself urgently into an Islamic state. Its leaders and its Army mistakenly colluded to set about constructing a paradigm for statecraft based on disparate notions - Ummah, Ghazwa-e-Hind, Din, jihad and jihadis, ill-treatment of Muslims in India, India as enemy -- and such other logically necessary elements of this interim, unsustainable & and it’s becoming transparent, unsuccessful statehood. This “karma” of a malicious denial of heritage and history is visiting Pakistan - even the Ummah countries shun this nation and one Muslim “country” broke away from it in 1971 - and Afghanistan and Iran are not particularly friendly with this Islamic Republic! Other parts of Pakistan also seem to be ignoring the ill-conceived & ill-maintained statecraft, recently -- and vying to break away. 😢😢

It suited the Army to rapidly deface & deny Pakistan’s millennia-old common heritage with India -- in order to draw voraciously disproportionate resources from the state (Pakistan). Clearly, the Army has succeeded in its initial, egregious designs - resulting in the bankruptcy of Pakistan. Armies do not produce: they just consume resources!! And Pakistan is unable, as a consequence, to claim its rightful, proud heritage dating back at least to the Indus civilisation - and is unable, unwilling or reluctant to own & embrace Yoga, Holi, Diwali, Raksha Bandhan and myriad of other social and spiritual traditions for which Indians are much respected throughout the world, including the Ummah countries!! What a missed opportunity by Pakistan -- and what a shame!! 😢😢
