@Tommorows-Dream afraid we are now a grade 4, no real further treatments in the UK other than some chemo when regrowth. His was exceptionally large to start as well and never totally removed

I woke up during kidney stone surgery. Personally I would have rather have been awake the whole time. Waking up then being put back under then waking up in recovery and being pushed out of the hospital before I was really alert sucked. They never had someone acknowledge to me what happened. I had nightmares for a decade.

I've had asleep brain surgery. It was on my frontal lobe so they knocked me out. Weird cause I'm pretty fine despite missing some of my frontal lobe.

I had a blood clot removed from my brain, two of them actually withiut being asleep. They used a catheter tool and went up my femoral artery up my trunk through my neck and up into my brain 😮😂 wild!

Can you guys please explain how different types of anesthetics work? I've heard that some block the signal from being sent to the brain and some prevent the brain from acknowledging (telling your conscious mind about) the incoming message from the pain receptors like "forgetting before you've noticed". I feel like I'm missing another type and I would love to know the ins and outs a little better. Thanks for the cool and somewhat macabre content.
