This was very interesting. Thank you for sharing. I have been working on a TTRPG for a long time, and you aren't kidding - things just keep popping up that you need to deal with. One trap I have to force myself out of is not making things too complex. In my younger years, tomes of rules was the way to go and I loved it, but now elegance and simplicity is the way to go. Have you been pulled into the trap of getting too detailed in your rules? Also, love your lore! I think its a unique take on how to activate magic and science, and merge them. Well done. Can hardly wait to read the rules.

I created I TTRPG for my German Larp-group during Covid. We couldn’t gather for obvious reasons and so I sat down and created a very easy 2 page RPG were the stats are replaced by the concepts our 6 dranconic gods stand for. It worked very well and was kind of interesting because every played had slightly different opinions on what to roll on for a certain task. Recently I made a 16 page rulebook out of it and a little box and a GM screen and we played it once in character at an Larp-convention in a tavern. It was so funny to see the other people’s faces. I think it’s a very satisfying experience to invent a game. Even if it’s just for fun 👏😇happy gaming.

Just happened to catch your post on r/rpgdesign. Love the vibe of Plasmo Points and Awakened. I'm working on a few projects right now and am nearing the end of putting a full 60ish page 5E adventure together 100% on my own from writing, illustration, layout, all the way to publishing. This is my first (but deffo not my last) foray into putting work out there. If you're looking for someone to help with putting the book together, I'd be happy to take a look! Keep up the good work friends.

Loved hearing about this. The more fantastical elements of science fiction have always interested me so its quite exciting seeing you make a game that includes them! I'm interested to see if you have any special interactions between technology and these "force powers" as you describe them, or whether they can be used harmoniously. I also found it funny when you mentioned the never-ending list of to-dos. The more you make, the more you realise you need. The difficult part is of course cutting down and including only the things that you actually need, just like every creative project. Hope to hear more about the progress of this game!

Thanks so much- so glad to hear the game has captured your interest! As for interactions between force powers and technology, most of the technology is based off of the same energy that the force power uses so they work harmoniously currently! And yes, it's a very long list if you let it be but there's certainly gotta be cut offs. Again, thanks so much! Glad to have you along for the ride!
