lol this makes so much sense. My ex has been across the country helping his mom for several months. We’ve been in no contact for two months and I could definitely see him making step 1 in his plan to reconnect to actually come back here so we can have a conversation in-person and he probably sees no point in starting the reconciliation process until then. He has also mentioned in the past wanting to buy a house here. He’s very logical major planner but also a cancer and has big feelings that he fights. This all would have been fantastic if he had been at this planning stage 15 years ago when the flame activation occurred. He wasted all those precious years not thinking about me and that I was older and had less years. We are too old, it is nearly too late so there is no more spare time to do detailed planning - just show up and we will figure it out as we go along. We could be celebrating at least a 10 year wedding anniversary in 2025 instead of being no place due to his selfishness.
