AWARENESS ON NATURAL DISASTER PREPAREDNESS ORGANIZED BY CYC IN COLLABORATION WITH NSDMA

Can Youth Community, in collaboration with the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), organized an awareness programme on natural disasters. The initiative aimed to equip young individuals with essential skills to respond effectively to emergencies.
During an interaction, Fire Department ASI Niamlungpou Gonmei highlighted frequent fire outbreaks in Dimapur’s slum areas. He pointed out that one major cause is outdated electric wiring and urged citizens to replace old wires and exercise caution in kitchens. In case of fire emergencies, residents can contact:
