I really do appreciate this video because I am a awd wagon owner and I have faced a lot of grief with the serviceability of the bearing parts. I have read that bisimoto installed crv trailing arms straight onto his wagon with a camber arm modification/adjustment. To me that is hype. I think you'd be really happy to fix up a jig to incorporate crv over wagon in the future. Only cuz crv parts are still available and I've been searching the globe for wagon parts and it's feasible but so niche and expensive. I think aftermarket crv parts and the overall better design for bearing serviceable makes them preferable. No criticism at all I'm just a geek and wanted to share what I've faced as a wagon owner trying to keep this thing on the road. Lol. Props to your builds above boostedboiz imho. You do the work yourself and still pull off these amazing cars. Props. Goals af

One tip for welding, do some stitches. The reason for that is, if one weld starts to crack, it doesn't effect the other welds. Joining all the welds may be strong, but if a crack starts, then it is all compromised.

Got that Dana touch! Are the rear hubs and bearings not interchangeable with the stock trailing arms. Meaning putting AWD bearings and hub in the stock FWD trailing arm
@YoungStatic6 жыл бұрын
i mentioned in the last video that you ca use awd hub and bearings in a regular rta with mods. i already had the wagon rta to use so wouldnt have to spend more money.

@YoungStatic6 жыл бұрын
Body, look for rust. If it’s ok with your standard, check out the engine. Make sure it’s mechanically sound. Ask for service records if any. Drive it, drive ability is important. Squeaks clunking etc

How did you make the setup that you have the trailing arms mounted on?

Use the stock rta and make mounts from it. Measure and cut the awd rta and Match it with the front half of fwd rta. Basically realigning the mounting all the holes
