I listened to this the day my oldest son was born. When I got to hold him for the first time he opened his eyes and looked into mine. First words that came to mind he was telling me was “I need you hear daddy.” He closed his eyes and I laid him back down in his bassinet. I went to the bathroom. Flushed every pill I had on me and crushed every bottle after looking in the mirror and deciding enough was enough. I was addicted to pain killers and other pills. It’s been 8 years since and I’ve never looked back. My son is such an amazing kid. Always protects his siblings and includes them when he plays. All four of my kids saved me at some point in my life and I thank Jehova every day for them and their mother. My message to anyone struggling it does get better and there’s always someone out there who will listen.

My daughter dedicated this song to me years ago while I was driving her to school. I really didn't pay attention to it until now. She was on drugs, alcohol etc., I tried everything I could think of to help her. All I could do was to get on my knees daily for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to save her. Well, our lord and savior saved her, and she's happily married now. Thank you for such a touching song that hits the heart so beautifully!

i lost my dad on the 7th. i ended up getting his PS5 and was listening to spotify on it, but had taken off the headset for a bit. i heard the end of this song playing from them and popped them back on. i listened for a minute before restarting it. my dad was a pretty bad alcoholic and it affected our relationship at times.. i fully believe this was his way of saying sorry before he went. i’ll forever think of him when i hear this song now.

This song came to me at a time in my life when I was dead in trespass in alcohol heavily bondage, the first time I heard this, it jumped at me. I didn't know the meaning, until I found the lyrics. I fell so deeply after the loss of my mother to cancer stage 4 she was gone in 11 mos. Now this song goes to all the people I hurted deeply through my autistic meltdowns. Living with this is no any easier that I walk alone becuz I know what my meltdowns do to others, they don't want anything to do with me anymore. Better to walk alone than to be hurting others in the future in the long run, it's my way of protecting everyone around me from this condition that has no cure. Right now Jesus is my only Friend who's walking with me, cuz He never gave up on me ,like everyone else does.
