So how do I play a movie on it ? - I copied a short movie onto a tiff card - plugged it in. There's no sign that it's detected the card. The internal memory of the unit isn't large enough (so a messages says), to store a movie internally, even a short one of just a few meg.

Try changing the format of the video

I think it's going to have to be returned - It doesn't show ordinary JPG pictures either. The videos were in MP4 format, so they should have worked.

Have you actually tried it as a satnav? I have and it took us in the most ridiculous convoluted route one could possibly imagine, in fact it's dangerous.

I ever tried awesafe sat nav, did not as what you said. I start to look for the GPS info at first, because the user manual also mentioned it, so that it took us the correct route. I think you never do it.

I have Garmin and wanted cheap second alesafe picked the same route as Garmin, 4700km trip across U.S. and Canada.
