I'm 40 in September :). I had an urge to listen to this today, to learn it on guitar. Great tune...all of the music was. Thundercats ruled! I also was lucky enough to get the Thundertank toy when I was a kid, one of the best toy memories I have.

I remember when this came out in 1985 just before my 15th birthday. Even as a teenager, I STILL loved to watch Thundercats back in the day. I'm now 50 years old and I still love the Thundercats to this day, and especially this song. Because when the Thundertank theme played it was gonna be epic.

I want to agree, but deep down I know anything made by today's studios would be a complete disaster. If Michael Bay doesn't direct it, he will produce or act, and there will be a stupid new Thundercopter because tanks are "boring." Shia Lebouf would be cast as both Snarf and Panthro for some reason, and Mumm-ra is now a time-traveling hacker who wears a scarf. All themes completely rescored by Pitbull. Or Kid Rock. Maybe both. It's also now partially connected with the Fast and Furious franchise somehow. RIP Transformers, TMNT, Star Wars, Indiana Jones -- now I'm sad. At least I still have some time before we inevitably end up with Disney's Gooniez 2 or "The Breakfast Club, but now it's on Facebook or TikTok."
