Men !!!!!! I have been following you now for about 3 months you really inspired me a 44 year old guy with a go to work box. And I have dome some of your upgrades. Iam about half way of my biggest upgrade now. Is wrapping it 2 tone red and black. My box it was just like yours white with black rims. Lol I wish I can share some of my progress with you . I've had these in my car for a few years now. Very nice. One inspection place wouldn't pass me, so I went to another, who didn't seem to care one bit.

Floods? I've never experienced a flood. Hurricanes, yes, but as long as you aren't on the coast your fine. And we don't run our AC 24/7. Next week it's going to be in the 70's and 50's at night. And the next four months should be mostly that type of weather. Florida isn't perfect, but it's better than most places in this country.

I bought a set of those for my Scion xB and for my mom and my dad's Scion xB's and I was able to get them put on without cutting the connectors if you push him up into that handle area they will stay and still be able to put the lights in without cutting the connections and splicing them together glad to see you upgraded the tag lights keep up the great work bro

Haha, basically did this yesterday. Though I replaced the incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs after re-seatting and buffing/polishing the housings. Now it looks like i have spotlights lighting up half the hatch lol.

My box has a set like these on there only my friend said he got them on ebay for 15$ before I bought the box from him. I'm curious if he spliced them as well, I'll ask him later. I eventually changed the reverse bulbs to some bright led ones to complement the license plate one's as well. Cool stuff bro, looking forward to the rear bumper vid!

Just installed the same kit on my xbox. Thank you for the cool video as usual. I was able to tuck the connector part behind the fixture, though just barely. I can see why you just hard wired it. Excellent look to my box!!!

Thanks for reporting that it worked for you without splicing the stock wiring harness. After so many people commenting that they were able to do it, I believe the reason it didn't work for me was because I have an aftermarket hatch handle that doesn't have the same amount of room that the stock handle offers. The ones I got you actually connect it like you do with your stock plate light twist and lock. What kind of led 3rd brake light are you looking for.

Damn, I just ordered the same license plate lights. I replaced the bulbs with leds over the summer but found that the housing had become brittle and was falling apart. I guess, I'm going to have to splice mine as well.

@@ExtremeDailyDrivers Well, mine did not fit as well because of the plug so what I did (because I didn't have any wire cutters or connectors) is I cut the plastic ring around the plug and was able to fit them inside.

When I bought the box the guy had left brand new led bulbs and these brand new license plate light. My connector I tucked it in and the lights slid into place but the connector is bulky for sure and I was just lookin at it last night and thinking of buying a new 194 connector that’s smaller but I’m thinking of just cutting and splicing myself even though the lights are in and function there is still some slight pressure on the screw/bulb because the connector is huge. The spice I’m using is one that I have never seen before but its a TEE connector that clips onto both wires + - at the same time and pierces the wire and the other end of the TEE you hook up your accessory wires.

Just swapped out my headlights, taillights and fogs and I'm hooked! Looking to get tge lights that fit the lower grill now. Maybe in green for my envy green series 3.0 but I'm not sure what will work. Any suggestions?

LOL...i did that upgrade like 6 months ago (mine was a little easier because i had to replace the hatch handle) , made a Huge difference in how much the rear of your car is visible at night! :) Also did leds in the dash where the air controls are...that was a nightmare because everything had to be modified.

Yeah, it really improves night time visibility. You could argue that it will help cut down on your chances on getting rear ended at night.

I can see you have the same problem with the back door on a lowered xB. The sharp edge are just in the forehead hight 🤦‍♂️ If you find a way to raise the back door a bit, let me know 😉
