Man I can’t wait for more of your content it’s great stuff. I have been duck hunting for 20 years in South Dakota breeding grounds for pintails and I have never shot a pintail with a sprig or fully colored out ever! They are always gone by about the 3rd week of season they must not like the cold to much! Pintails are my Number 1 duck! Other than Green Noggins!

Agree. Pintail is #2, but they are so beautiful. In Utah, only one pintail. Makes it difficult when you shoot your first one early.
@ChasingGreen2 жыл бұрын
Same here, i think its 1 nationwide rightnow. Hopefully it will change soon as research seems to indicate there are too many drakes and as long as we make it drake only we can shoot more with no problems

@@ChasingGreen One of my highlights of my hunting lifetime was with my oldest grandson. He shot a banded drake pintail with me on 11/11/14 & 11/11/20. Yes. Six years to the day. The article was in Wildfowl this past year. My lab, Avery, retrieved them both & I put her down last Thursday. Great memories.
