AWESOME antique otis traction elevator @ the Guggenheimer Lynchburg VA VINTAGE

now THIS is a cool elevator! it is a vintage otis traction elevator. notice the beautiful fixtures. This is a classic example of a very well preserved classic elevator. one of the coolest elevators I have ever come across enjoy!

This is a really cool old elevator. I especially love elevators with manual doors. Where my daddy has his office there is an antique elevator that is just used for maintenance and cleaning crews. I've been allowed to operate it. It has the old brass gate and a control handle that you turn one way or the other to go up or down. So much more fun than plastic buttons!

we have one very similar to this one in williamson ,wv, last time i was there it still had all the original fixtures. it has the most beautiful pocket doors. i think you would love the old elevators we have here. if you ever think of taking a trip in this direction let me know and i could make a list for you.
