"Mu'athin Firas Qazzaz continues his family tradition of giving the Athan (call to prayer) in Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, the third holiest site in Islam. He told me that the honor has been passed from father to son for 700 years and graciously allowed me to record his call for Isha prayer."

Mashaallah I am very impressed by the family tradition of Muezzins in the Arab world, also in Masjid Nabawi in Madinah and Masjid Al Haram in Makkah muezzins are selected from their forefather's Muezzin descendets,,, mashaallah what a beautiful family tradition... Ma Sha Allah, One of the most beautiful Azaan I have heard. These are the Blessed people who are calling people for prayers. Allah Subhanahu Wataaalah has concealed the hasanah and reward of calling Azaan, else there might be a war amongst us to call Azaan. Allahu Akbar.
