It arrived, and it is as good as described. With careful playing, it tracks right down to open E. Nice synthy tone, miles ahead of a TC electronic nether it replaced.

got one too it is my first so i have no reference it does not seem to track perfectly for me so i got to figure out what i'm doing wrong i guess

@@cheveyo2403 it does glitch out quite easily, i find having the tone up high helps, as well as it being the first pedal in the chain. If i am playing a line that I need it not to glitch out on, i avoid anything under Bb. It does not like my G string either (roto sound jazz 77 flats), and for some reason struggles to read the tone from it. I keep a balance of the original tone in the mix for stability too. I am careful to only play one note at a time into it. With these restrictions in mind, it works quite well. Try a fuzz pedal after it! Sounds gnarly

@@TheMrAndybass i thought it would do well with my frettless JB with roto 88 on it. it is a cheap Harley Benton and its quite noisy. hasn't received proper setup yet either. I've only been playing bass since december so for now pedals are just a gimmick while i actually try to learn bass. usually i play my other basses a Sterling by MM ray 34 and a Sire P5 Pbass. guess i'll have plenty of time to try figure out how to use it best. It sounds so good in the above video tho. for now i have 3 pedals and a Tuner no fuzz yet. but i can still play with the order. currently Cali76bass > queequeq > Jive

It depends on the bass really. Most 34" basses have a weak fundamental around the 5th fret on the G. Endless debates on talkbass about this!

Id be interested in hearing it into an envelope / LFO / Chorus. That is the next step beyond adding fuzz. I think you might be able to get a bit more range and some avant garde timbres with that -2 setting and combined.
