A bull elk bugles at dawn, then intimidates his rivals by tearing up sagebrush with his massive antlers. All the while keeping an eye on nearby cows in his harem. Watch in HD.

I wonder was this elk bugling in the spring? My experience listening to elk is in Pennsylvania where they bugle in the fall and birds are not singing. When I heard birdsong on the soundtrack I wondered if it was added. The reason is: The birds singing in the background are warblers that arrive in early May, sing in May and early June, but stop singing in July.

I would be epic to ride these in battle. Just think about it. The enemy is taking over the battlefield then in the distance they here an elk bugle and see a pack of warriors riding on massive elks with their swords in hand ready to slay the enemy.
