@@connorlewis6320yes barbel is probably a stronger fight then pike depending on size

Never mind Matt Hayes endorsing the setup, he's been off the scene for years, it should have your name and a link to this video on the sellers advert. Ask them to do that Chris. We should all email them and get them to do it.Those Shakespeare reels are such high quality for the price point, I have 4 of them for Carp fishing and the clutches are so smooth and the baitrunner system as good as any reel 3 times the price. You should have 1M subs mate. Innovative, super skilled, inspirational angling.

Thanks Paul i appreciate the kind words! I really have loved everything I've used from Shakespeare this year. Landing the 22lb grassy on their Float rod was one of my most exciting sessions of the season. Off topic, but keep your eyes peeled for a Collab with Carl and Alex next weekend ;)

A couple of years ago I had my two best barbel ever 12lb 2oz and 11lb 7oz I'm looking to beat this next season......they seem to love a golfball size piece of luncheon meat on a big ole size 4 hook where I fish. But all said and done I'm just happy to be out on the bank enjoying the view.

Nice video there mate, and the rod looks pretty sweet too!. I used to have a Mach 2 XT Barbel a few years ago and it was a very nice rod, I'm guessing this Challenge XT is based on those Mach 2 XT blanks so should be a nice set up to get someone started and beyond.

The quality of your videos are getting better and better but if you don’t mind me pointing out two areas of improvement, 1) the chest camera perhaps isn’t the best choice due to the images we are seeing is often of random odd images of your feet or the floor etc. 2) your transition at the start of your videos is very dated (slapping the camera with your hand. You have proven that you are capable of better transitions than that, why not do that instead) You clearly want to do this professionally so start looking at what other professions do for that type of scenario
