Train track is made of Technic Beams and is 9 studs wide and 2 studs high. Trains are 11 studs wide and some parts 13 studs.
Wheel Modification is required, see my other video.

If I may ask, how much does it cost to set up a track system of that scale? I’m sure you have acquired the volume of pieces over time, but if one where to just need to start from scratch, and wanted to make a loop of this scale.

I just measured 1 meter of track and it contained 40x 15L beams and a couple small parts. My track is 2 layers of 15L beams so 1 meter is 2 layers of 16x 15L beams and 8x 15L as sleepers. Almost all my track I bought at Aliexpress and I found the cheapest 17 euro for 100x 15L beams. Current price is around 21 euro because VAT is now included (but no risk of additional import duties). So current price is 21 cent per 15L beam so for 1 meter with 40x 15L beams the price is 8,40 euro. Price from real Lego is around 45 cents last time I looked so more than double. I guess a small circle track is around 10 meter so around 84 euro. 20 meter track 170 euro. And you probably need a couple thousand black pins (real Lego, Aliex no good), but they are cheap so 10 euro. If you're going to make a super long track I'm just going to live at your place! There have been a couple times I ordered 700x or 800x 15L in 1 order. A whole box completely full of 15L beams! I still have a photo from that somewhere haha.

Ik heb niet zoveel geel/blauw en geen zin om zoveel bij te bestellen. Hij is 1,70m lang dus dat is aardig wat Lego. Geen probleem als je geel/blauw Lego wilt opsturen naar me haha

That is amazing, it's like LGB trains but made out of LEGO! Would be cool to see some Jacobs bogies or a Talgo-like system to take those curves faster 😉

Thanks for the ideas! I'm not a train expert so I have checked the Jacobs bogies and Talgo-like system. Both systems I will probably use in future projects! Will be fun the try out the Talgo system. I can probably turn the wheels a little in curves by connecting the car-connecting-beam to the wheel upright thingy.

I've made the a train car with the Talgo system and it works great! So now almost no extra friction in the curves! Really nice! I will probably show the Talgo system in my next "Steam Loc" video. Thanks agin for the idea!

@@legotechnictrains8999 Great! Another way to go faster on curves is to add a slight tilt to the track towards the radius of the curve, also known as "camber"

Thanks! I did not make the corners strong enough, just some paper cardboard and I was driving too fast I think. This is why I made some test videos!

@@legotechnictrains8999 well the speed does look okay but I think the boggies might be a bit to loose since it is only the body I see wobbling but overall it doesn't derail so that's good

@@legotechnictrains8999 a well that's understanable as lego parts are expensive and that thing ain't little so it probably costed a bunch already so well honestly I think as long as it doesn't derail or flip on it's side due to the wobble it's fine

Thanks! This scale is in between mini figure and Technic figure scale. I have sometimes used the Technic figures in my videos but they are giants. I was thinking of making a joke by adding 1x2 bricks at the waist of some mini figures and some 1x1 bricks under the feet. That's about the right scale.

Hey I'm back. I have got a few things to ask / say. Firstly you have got a beautiful garden that the trains really pop out of. Secondly could you attach a go pro style camera so we can see the trains perspective and finally when it derailed I wholeheartedly felt that sigh. Also can you put your ww2 gun moc on one of the trains please. Also could bloopers and other misalanious things be posted to your other youtube channel rocky slay! Keep up the good work.
