This was my first Trivisa... Great knife... I joke with my friends about it being an assassin's knife - for whatever reason, this is the quietest opening locking knife in my collection. Even when slowly opened, the sound is extremely muted... Makes for a quiet fidget if you're hanging with friends/family and don't want to annoy them... wondering if yours is the same. Today I have my Vision FG in micarta/damascus with Kizer Ti deep carry clip and Snaggletooth mod. Keep up the great work brother!!!

As for the blade play, did you try tightening the pivot? Trivisa doesn't loc-tite their knives so after some fidgeting the pivot screw will back out unless you add your own threadlocker. This one in particular seems to loosen up quickly. I blue loc-tited mine and it's been fine since.

I went to the site to check out the specs and prices for the different variations. The one you are showing looks like a flat grind, but the ones at the site look like hollow grinds. Is this a hollow or flat grind? Thanks for the review G

it looks like a sabre hollow to me, it comes down fairly thin

Does the trivisa web site ship from china or USA?
@GBall_Vision12 күн бұрын
i think it depends, if its an item theyve had for awhile itll most likely be in the usa already at a warehouse. if its a brand new product it will most likely come from china. they usually get them over here as soon as they can

I like this one, but for me it's missing a lanyard option

So you'll literally pass up a knife you like over that? I'm just curious. If so, that must be hard thing to deal with. I guess the up side would be, it would save the bank account a lil bit though. lol
@Bladeshooked_Daniel11 күн бұрын
@jarrodknight4698 Yes in general but with some exceptions. For instance the Viper Twin slipjoint or a buck 110 or 55. I lost a CRK and a WE Bishop due to clips, so now my knives go deep in the pocket with lanyard or without with a slip pouch
@jarrodknight469811 күн бұрын
@@Bladeshooked_Daniel oh ok... So the lanyard is used to pull it upfrom deep in the pocket. I always thought they were used for either extended grip support, or just decoration lol. But your explanation makes way more practical sense. Thanks for the reply! 👍
